An unofficial story sequel to the Stare Master episode. A strange creature shows up at Fluttershy's cottage. After it gets startled, It attacks her and when she wakes up, she feels different. Her wings have changed, her hoof tips have changed, she's changed. Her biggest change? Her attitude. She lies to her friends, she has a massive confidence boost, but most importantly, she wants her friends more. Only problem, she wants them in new, darker ways. By using methods not even Lauren Faust could have imagined, Fluttershy manages to turn all of Ponyville into vampires. All of Ponyville, that is, except for a handful of survivors. With only one scientist and a handful of outcasts, they must find a cure to save the ones that care about them... until help arrives after it's too late, and somehow solves the problem... maybe? I don't know. developments to come. Anyhow, to all my loyal fans of Team Friendship 2, I'm starting this mid-story because I kept being retarded and kept forgetting to save my work on the current chapter, So I decided to be lazy and start a new story instead, maybe get some new fans.

Ditto, a changeling from the attack on Canterlot, is flung far from her home and lands in Ponyville. She crashes into Twilight's library, and finds it a nice place to stay, quiet, abandoned, and peaceful. Until, of course,Twilight returns from Canterlot and finds her.

How will Ditto survive? She is lost, hungry, and far from her swarm.

Will the ponies find it in their hearts to help this poor, injured creature?

It still bothered her how she had gotten here, how it was even possible that she was walking side-by-side through some buried underground-structure, with her favourite fictional character become flesh. But as they resumed trotting deeper into the temple, Dash's thoughts kept going back to the event.

"No", Dash told herself, sternly. "That's - that's not it."

She almost would have compared the experience to "Pinkie Sense" of all things!

But she had seen something out of the corner of her eye. It had been... letters. Words. A sentence.

Something along the lines of "... the characteristic noise of a ... spikes closing in right behind ... Rainbow Dash slammed her body into ... ".

And then she had acted, before the trap was even visible. She had known what was going to happen, before it happened.

She ... she had read the next paragraph.

After the disastrous invasion of Canterlot, an injured changeling wakes up near a small cottage and is quickly discovered by two of the last ponies she ever wanted to see. Now, with the help of her new "friends," she has to remain undetected in a town high on changeling hysteria that would not hesitate to throw her in the Canterlot dungeons should her true nature be revealed.

Simple, right?

Too bad she couldn't have picked a worse form to stay inconspicuous...
