The annual Yaken holiday of Snilldar Fest is a special time of year for all of Yakyakistan as evey yak comes together and indulges in two of their most important aspects of life: family and smashing!

What happens when Smolder gets invited to partake in such festivities for the holidays?

Probably some form of smashing-related hijinks ensue!

It is winter in Equestria, but for Second Lieutenant Gallus, he's instead of going to spend the holidays in Equestria or even Griffonstone. He and his loving hippogriff Silverstream are off to her home in Mount Aris to enjoy the Three Days of Freedom Celebration with her extended family.

Hippogriffs give each other gifts on the third day, and for their first holiday as a couple, Gallus wants to get the perfect gift for Silverstream. There is just one problem, that's easier said than done.

One is that Silverstream has a tendency to love everything in sight, what would be the perfect gift for some creature like that? Second, how can a simple griffon compete against Silverstream's Hippogriff Royal Family?

Smolder, oblivious to the events that occurred, is told of the dumb shit Spike did while walking around town. She admits to teaching him those words, but with her own reasoning. However, she gets into some big fucking trouble and decides that the only way to make anything better is to take matters into her own claws. Buckle the fuck up, bitches. It's going to be a bumpy ride...

Ever since confiding in each other about their greatest fears, things haven't been the same for Gallus and Silverstream.

Gallus in particular finds that he can't get the hippogriff/seapony out of his thoughts no matter what he does. But he's never been in love before, and he certainly doesn't have any examples to build off of.

Silverstream, meanwhile, is being plagued by reoccurring nightmares about the Storm King. Luckily, Gallus is there to help her through them. But can he use this opportunity to tell her how he feels? Or does Silverstream have her own ideas in mind?

More importantly, what do their friends have to think of this sudden development?

After having saved Equestria from the chaotic terror of Discord, Twilight and her friends are more than ready to settle down and relax back in Ponyville. But while enjoying some milkshakes together, they're approached by a young colt who has an unexpected thing to ask of them.

Having succeeded in their task of convincing the dragon to leave his mountain home, Twilight and her friends are of course delighted that things are getting back to normal. But shortly after their return to Ponyville, the young unicorn gets a surprise visit from the heroine of the hour, Fluttershy, who has something she needs to ask her.

Twilight sealed off her heat when she was twelve, thinking it was just a distraction she didn't need in her life. After she got her new castle, she reveals this fact to her friends. Now her friends decided to release it. After all, what's the worst that could happen?

It was just three simple words that Gallus heard her mutter as they lay in bed together. Three words that he had heard many times before, but never did he realize just how beautiful they sounded when it was addressed to him.

After another long day studying friendship, the Young Six decide to have a chat about exchanging appendages and abilities. Smolder was adamant about keeping hers and not changing anything about being a dragon. Spike, hearing their conversation, decides to show Smolder what it's like to have something over than claws.
