get that 'the' out of the way and replace it with a number or adjective or whatever please.
This was such a touching little story. You did a superb job in capturing the changes Gallus went through as he went on adventures with the rest of the Young Six. The part with Silverstream was such a sweet, tear-drawing bit. Ten out of ten would give it a reread sometime. Have a fav and a like.

For something you claim you did in an hour this is really impressive and well structured. It does a great job showing how much Gallus loves each of his friends, especially Silversream, and how much better his life has become.
This is why Gallus is Best Birb and one of my favorite characters of the entire show despite not being in the majority of it.
I've always been a sucker for "Found Family" stories (It's why I like Guardians of the Galaxy a lot too), but Gallus' just kind of hit me in the right place.
I really hoped MLP would have gotten more time with him, but I'm glad we got the time we did.

Finally read this. It was perfect, I made an idea similar like this that I never ended up writing.
This perfectly captures my feelings towards the young six, and Gallus most of all.
I finally got this off my backlog. This is really good. I cried when you made me realize Smolder will outlive her friends by hundreds or even thousands of years.

Typo. These two comments aside, this is a nice story. It really emphasizes on the simple but wholehearted love that friendship brings.
This put a warm feeling in my heart. The kind of feeling where everything is good and right with the world. Everything is as it should be.
This is some masterful introspection. Gallus lying in bed ruminating on his relationships and how happy he’s become struck a good chord. As someone who suffers from self-worth issues much like Gallus does, it’s heartening to read about him finding joy. I could really feel his love radiating out of every sentence.
I think you struck a very good balance between things like sex and virginity, and the more love related topics. Neither overshadowed the other, being present in the story without being obstructive. I enjoyed Gallus’ initial hesitance at taking her virginity, and Silver’s assurance that despite several obstacles involving her people, this is what she wanted. And continued to want every chance they got!
I’d also like to express my sincere thanks that you mentioned Gallus being the Element of Magic in their group. I’ve long asserted that to be true, but too many mistakenly give that title to Sandbar simply because he’s a pony. Out of all the Student Six, I maintain that Gallus fits that role as well as the role of leader the best.
To top this off, I want to praise how absolutely everything you wrote about is entirely plausible and even likely to have happened within the confines of the show. Perhaps not the part with booze, but I imagine Gallus and Sandbar would somehow accidentally end up married even in a world without it! But everything else; from Gallus and Silver becoming a couple, to Smolder’s fears, to Ocellus’ empathy and occupation. It’s always very special when a story not only stays true to the show, but is also compatible with my own beliefs and ideas. This was a story that I enjoyed very much! Thank you!

That, and she had helped him overcome his fears of confessing to Silversream. A changeling always knows what the heart wants as the saying goes.

Awww that was the sweetest thing I ever read aside from the sex thing it was pretty nice that gallus looking back throughout his younger years yes it was never a good year for him when he was a little kid having nobody to love him and no parents he was basically alone and his home land but when he came to Equestria things were looking up for him yeah sure in the beginning he didn't want it to be there but then after meeting his new friends and forever he never thought he will feel something that he never had back home and throughout the years they did a lot of things either get in trouble having a good time and hanging out and I do like how he really loves his friends especially his love one silverstream yes I ship those two so much and not only that he became one of the first non Pony to be one of the royal guards of Princess Twilight Sparkle and despite all that he had a bright future ahead of him and he's not going to do it alone this was a pretty sweet story and I really like this one keep up the good work
