Sunset Shimmer, after all this time, finally decides to ask Twilight Sparkle on a date. Yes, the Sunset, has a crush on the same Twilight she rescued at the Friendship Games. The question is... how is she going to do it? It also doesn't help that a bunch of things get in the way of her perfect plan!

Someone has been leaving flowers in Twilight’s locker all week. Roses, marigolds, daffodils, Twilight is half expecting the town's florist to go bankrupt. Twilight can't stand high school romance, but everyone knows that love confessions are best saved for Fridays.

After doing extensive research on love and evaluating her feelings, Twilight comes to the conclusion that she has feelings towards her hyperactive pink friend. The only question that remains is whether or not Pinkie is ready to put her heart into another pony's hooves.
This story, is now complete for the time being. this last chapter is a little bit of me trying to be more descriptive and improve myself a bit. please tell me how you feel about it.

This is the first story I'll be posting in chapters. normally i like to post them all at once so i know the story's layout and can keep the tone all the way through, but going through about 14,000 words at once over and over again can be pretty daunting.

I promise though i will not let this piece languish over a long period of time. If there is one thing i dislike more than an author never finishing a story, its one that stops updating for weeks or months at a time.

Also a shout out to Bloopsy from the ponychan board is in order for some continuity and in character wrangling later on in the fic. Also he's the only one to ever volunteer to proofread a fic of mine and his help has been invaluable as a second viewpoint during the later parts of the story.

Keeping in touch through letters, two friends become very close and maybe even more. After Twilight moves to Canterlot, to help the sick princess, she and Pinkie Pie discover a close friendship they never knew about.

Pinkie Pie is an earth pony known for her love of making other ponies smile and throwing parties. She loved the idea of anything with the word party in it. When she finds out that Rarity and Applejack have been having Slumber Parties at Twilight Sparkle's house, she feels insulted and decides to spy on them. Then when the three ponies play a game of Truth or Dare, Pinkie Pie makes an unexpected discovery.

Note: This is just a oneshot fanfiction for Twinkie Pie. It's meant to be short and cute, so no fussing about length. Hope you enjoy it!

Twilight feels herself lonely in generic fashion, when she spends the Hearts and Hooves Day dateless. And that in spite of the fact she did something about it, too.

Thankfully, some sage advice from Applejack amends the situation.

Ever since she was a filly, Pinkie Pie wanted to learn to smoke a pipe. After all, if her father did that and liked it, it must be good, no?

"Oh, no, no, no. That’s not why I’m here, Twilight. But I’m kind of in trouble, and you’re the only one who can help me."
Just as Twilight was about to reply, Pinkie Pie spoke once more. "Like, trouble trouble.”
