Having succeeded in their task of convincing the dragon to leave his mountain home, Twilight and her friends are of course delighted that things are getting back to normal. But shortly after their return to Ponyville, the young unicorn gets a surprise visit from the heroine of the hour, Fluttershy, who has something she needs to ask her.

Family Day is an annual tradition in Ponyville where parents, family members, or guardians of young foals come to the Ponyville Schoolhouse and experience a day in their young charges' lives! Sweet, right? Cheerilee thought so, too, until the Mane Six walked through the door...

Written for my very first Quills and Sofas flash-fic contest, Panic #96: Pop Quiz! This was written in an hour (or just under an hour, I saw the announcement 9 mins late!), although I went back and made a few small edits for grammar after the fact! I placed second! While on her way home from a day with her friends, Apple Bloom runs into Twilight on a trip to Zecora's hut. After insisting to join her, little Apple Bloom gets lost in the woods after chasing a mysterious mare hiding amongst the poison joak. She stumbles upon a town completely isolated within the Ever Free Forest, but something about this town just doesn't feel right...

The shops are closed, and Sweetie Belle doesn't have a present for Rarity yet! But Pinkie Pie is here to save the day...

After ascending to Princesshood, Twilight decides that it's time to really take the notion of "A Sound Mind in a Sound Body" to heart. She has the "Sound Mind" bit down (mostly), but years of sitting inside hunched over a book has given her quite a bit of ground to make up on the "Sound Body" front.

Fortunately, she has an athletic friend to help her out.
