This story explores a dragon's nature somewhat, and spins a narrative of a middle-aged Spike regaling a visitor about the favorite item in his hoard: a statue of his favorite pony. It is a story about Spike, Rarity, reminiscing, letting go, and preserving that which is most precious to us.

Rainbow Dash seems to be losing her mind, forgetting entire encounters and continually saying things that don't make any sense. Scootaloo gets to see Dash twice as much as she'd ever expected. Twilight Sparkle slips into full on-hermit mode. Applejack just wants answers... and to be with Rainbow Dash.

There's a double rainbow. What does it mean? It's so bright, so vivid....

Twilight and her five friends are transported during a botched spell, across dimensions to... Ponyville, Equestria? But not the same one that they knew. Sitting on a bench is Harpsy and Babar. The Doctoress avoids apples from an aspiring Applebuck. And in a library across town, six stallions join their forces as they try to decipher the appearance of filly look-alikes of themselves around Ponyville!

What if, instead of going to Ponyville, Twilight Sparkle left Canterlot to go to the Pony Mesa Research Facility?
What if, instead of fighting off Nightmare Moon, she fought off a Resonance Cascade?
And what if, instead of meeting her friends in preparation for the Summer Sun Celebration, she instead met them in the aftermath of the Resonance Cascade?

This is the story of Twilight Sparkle, as she takes on the role of Gordon Freeman from the original Half-Life, and the friends she meets along the way.

The Seven Great Demon Lords are trying to take over Equestria and merge it with the digital world. Which would be bad for both worlds. desperate to stop them, Team Xros Heart and Blue Flare send their Digimon to help Twilight and her friends. and somehow Trixie.

When Rainbow Dash needs to learn cooking, she's surprised to find who is the best chef in ponyville!

This is a story made for Cereal's 2-hour story submission. It is a rushed fic, but I think it deserves a place on this site!

Rarity leaves on a trip for Baltimare to visit her family for the holiday season of Gift Giving Day. Problems with too many ponies needing her services and a disappointed sister are the least of her concerns. She stumbles on a world of lonely orphans and reconnects with an old friend from her middle school days, who seems to be in some trouble of his own. Although her heart of generosity urges her to try and help where she can, Rarity could find that being all things to all ponies might come with a cost to her well-being and happiness. Meanwhile, Rarity is troubled over her friend's suppressed anger towards her, and her own inability to sort out her feelings for two ponies and one dragon. And just who or what is the strange new pony that has entered Rarity's life? Twilight is fascinated, but Spike isn't so sure.

Edit: 07/06/12 Reboot 2.0 underway. It has a new plot, new location, and a few new characters. A brand new spin also needs a brand new cover art, so I chose one I felt better represented the story's overall sadness.
