Written as an alternative to the finale of the movie Rainbow Rocks, this story presents a scenario to illustrate why trap and drill music from the South Side of Chicago should have appeared in the Equestria Girls sequel.

Upon her return from Dodge Junction, something has changed inside Applejack. Her feelings for a certain pony have become as solid as the diamonds that adorn said pony's flank. However, will Ponyville's own Southern belle ever pluck up the courage to be the mare that wins Rarity's heart?

After a few rather disastrous attempts to find a date in Ponyville, Twilight goes to her mentor in Canterlot in a last ditch effort in the hopes of finding the answers she seeks. Princess Celestia, however, may have something more for her than either of them had anticipated.
