Twilight has been waiting and waiting for a new letter from Rainbow Dash. The Pegasus had been off fighting in the war that broke out across Equestria, however, she is killed in action.

When Twilight finally receives a letter, it isn't what she's expecting.

Twilight looked over to her dear mentor, Princess Celestia, and found she had once again fallen asleep mid-lesson. Her intense debate on awakening the princess was cut short when the decision was taken out of her hooves.

“Huh? Oh. Twilight, I am so sorry for falling asleep again. I think we need to reschedule this for tomorrow morning.”

Twilight nodded. After all, Princess Celestia was obviously overworked. If only there was something she could do to help.

Piña Colada is a young filly who has a happy outlook on life. She is a great student, and she loves all her friends. But the minute she gets home, her happiness stops. At home, Mommy is always drinking her adult juice, and she says it's to help her deal with life. Daddy also drinks it, constantly. Piña just wants them to stop, but she can't seem to get through to them. She decides to take desperate measures, and that's when Mommy finally wakes up.

It's been a long time since Celestia disappeared. Nobody knew where she went, not even her own sister. Princess Luna has delved into her own sorrow, and Cadence has her own kingdom to run. So where does that leave Twilight?

On the outside, she's the leader of Equestria, and it's always been that way. But really, she's just a lost little filly. So what does she decide to do?
