Following her defeat and expulsion from Canterlot, Chrysalis is fuming. That mood doesn't improve when Celestia arrives on her doorstep. Things degrade from there...

Chrysalis' scheme has borne fruit. United by bribes and promises, the leaders of each nation have come with her to deliver an ultimatum: surrender Equestria, or face hopeless war with their combined armies.

So why does Celestia look to Chrysalis with a gentle, mourning gaze? And why is Chrysalis afraid?

Celestia has never used her full power.

Ever.

But that might be about to change. Chrysalis has contacted her and requested a meeting out in the middle of nowhere. Celestia expects a trap. In fact, she's hoping for it.

Instead of Celestia fighting Chrysalis first, Twilight does. After Twilight is defeated and poisoned from Chrysalis's bite, Celestia becomes filled with an uncontrollable rage that transforms her into Daybreaker. Once that happens she attacks Chrysalis. Will she be able to stop the changeling, and more importantly, will the heroes be able to get Celestia back as well as save Twilight's life?

Back then it seemed like a good idea, get me some peace and quiet and stay unbothered by the stallions (and mares) that want a piece of me.
I should really have added an expiration date on that stupid part of parchment, or at least made sure i overturned it at some point.
Now here I sit, the old scroll self summoning into my face and the record keepers agreeing, that no amount of overturning will save me from having to follow.
Welp, no helping it, might as well try to make this mess work.

After learning that the Mane 6 and Luna are away on a friendship mission, Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy Glow want to attack Canterlot while only Celestia remains. Grogar however is adamant against it so they do the only thing they know how to... disobey his orders and attack anyway. Upon doing so though, they learn exactly why he said no and wish they had listened.

The highest art in diplomacy is turning enemies into allies.

In this alternate take on the ending to Season 2, Chrysalis actually triumphs, defeating everypony and turning Princess Celestia into a Changeling. However, almost immediately, Chrysalis's plans begin to go awry. For Changelings feed on love. And who is more beloved in Equestria than Princess Celestia?

Chrysalis forgets to take the medicine that suppresses her scent and her omega instincts. She has yet to decide if the result is the best or worst day of her life.
