You are a new colt in town forced to live with Pinkie Pie. You don't want to stay long and don't want friends

You're a fast-flying, teenage pegasus colt with dreams of glory! Having just transferred to a new boarding school in Cloudsdale, you're looking forward to meeting new friends, joining the wingball team, and finally hanging out with fellow pegasi. This year's going to be so awesome!

Except you're the only pegasus around without a cutie mark. And everyone already seems to think you're a total loser, before they've even met you. And your only friend can hardly stand up for herself, much less you. And you're convinced a certain rainbow-maned mare is out to ruin your life. Yep, awesome.

This is the story of your high school days at Wingbury Academy.

You almost miss her the first time you see her, but circumstances draw you into the life of the quiet, shy girl who only ever wears over-sized sweaters, and it's only a matter of time before you wonder how you ever got by before.

Fully humanized world, with adaptations of the canon. Names altered for coherency's sake.

It's the beginning of summer and you have nothing to do. One day you're wandering the market and you notice a new girl working at one of the flower stands. You decide to talk to her, and a new friendship is born, but soon after, things start to pick up and you're just caught in the middle.

-Sorry if it's a little rough in places, this comes after a huge hiatus of writing, so I need to get back into the swing of things.

Twilight Sparkle reluctantly embarks on a journey to Hoofington to learn the magic of friendship. However, she instead finds herself in the ghetto that is Ponyville, where friendship has taken a back seat to "Sweets" addictions and violent power struggles. Will Twilight be able to complete her quest among the jaded denizens of Ponyville or just be caught in the crossfire?

Outgoing.

It’s something that all your life, you have never been. A stallion with a rather reserved personality, you’re fine with being on your own, though admittedly, harbour a bit of a desire to have more in your life when it comes to friends and the like. The problem is though, you’re not exactly sure how to get out of this ‘social life-less’ situation you find yourself in, and actually achieve such desires.

That is, until one brightly pink mare comes into your life, and gives you all that and so much more.

God only knows how long I've spent writing this prologue. Revision after revision after revision… I guess I'm a bit of a perfectionist. Anyhow, consider me as new to the fic-writing scene. I'm aware that the whole ‘opposites attract’ storyline is a bit cliché, but since this is my first time writing an actual story, it’s what I felt the most comfortable with.

But enough of that, heh.

The days go by, the same as they always do. You go through the day without a care in the world. Well, mostly.
You do care. You care for her. For the girl who's always been by your side. She's your best friends, and you hope you're hers. Thing is, she's bullied daily. Every day. Whether it's from some immature group of boys, to Sunset Shitter, she's always berated and picked on. Her friends care deeply for her, but sadly, are in next to no classes with her, and rarely see her.
You talk with her often though. Well, you don't really 'talk' like everyone. Being mute was always just something you never thought about.
But if only you could say something to her. Something to lift her back up. To let her know she's not worthless.
If only you could.

This is my first attempt at a Second-Person fic so please comment and tell me how it goes. Thanks!

One morning, you find yourself with a horrible headache. As you look over to the woman next to you, expecting it to be someone you've never met before, as was what you're used to, you realize that this is someone you'd never expect. Who do you find?
2nd person humanized. There'll be no love triangles, cheating, or anything like that. That stuff is unnecessary and uncomfortable. Just a simple relationship that happened to have started in an... odd way. Picture by the very talented John Joseco.
