Rainbow Dash grew up not knowing who her mother is.

One Mother's Day, Twilight Sparkle becomes determined to find out who Rainbow's mother is and drag her back to Ponyville to reunite with her daughter.

There's just one little hitch:

Rainbow Dash's mother is Daring Do. And she's inconveniently off "researching" her next book.

Now, Rainbow Dash has to go on a journey. A journey of self-discovery. A journey of a thousand unanswered questions.

A journey to find...her biomom.

Oh, and there's an ancient alicorn tomb and a closely guarded secret that'll change the history of Equestria forever, but that's just another day in the life of Daring Do.

(This story ignores certain details established by the Journal of the Two Sisters and the Daring Do chapter books.)

Takes place during "A Canterlot Wedding", When things are getting ready for the wedding, Spike starts to recall when Princess Cadance helped Twilight take care of him all those years back.

This story takes place after "Secret of my Excess". After Spike causes a rampage in Ponyville and is turned to normal, there's one gift that Spike realized he forgot to open.

As Princess Celestia's school for gifted unicorns closes for the summer, one pony finds it hard to see the bright side of leaving something she loves so much. Princess Celestia has a plan that will help her student find a new friend, as well as helping another in the process.

Ever since the Equestria Games, Spike had often considered Princess Cadence as an aunt figure. Now, following Tirek's rampage, he decides to pluck up his courage to confess what he feels to her.

Spike had learned his lesson, not to use his friend's position for his own gain. He has been since forgiven, but Luna thinks otherwise. She asks him to a meet in her personal room. There she tells him the reality of power and how she almost fell to it just like he did.
