While the Lord of Chaos still thinks all these little pony holidays are useless, he decides to celebrate Hearth's Warming with his marefriend, Trixie despite his own opinions. However, the night takes a very unexpected turn of events when he notices his lover has gone missing!

When her plans for the holiday hit a disappointing bump, Spike invites Rarity to spend Hearth's Warming Eve and Hearth's Warming with him and Twilight. A warm, if somewhat dysfunctional and amusing pair await her. And in the end, maybe she'll get what she needs this year.

And deep in the castle
Two sisters are resting
From holiday hassle
Their gift was prepared
The party's tomorrow
But without their teacher

With the Pillars to fight

Before Hearth's Warming Night.

NOTE: The story itself is prose. I just felt like writing the description as a poem just for the heck of it.

Twilight goes to the human world to find out what they celebrate during Hearth's Warming Eve. However, she's soon overwhelmed when she finds out about the existence of TWO holidays: Christmas and Hanukkah. She's confused, but when a blizzard leaves her trapped at Flash's house, she might just find out what it's all really about.

Sunset Shimmer has no place to go for Christmas. Although she says she doesn’t mind, the truth is she's already feeling very lonely. Seeing her friend in distress, Fluttershy steps up and invites Sunset to spend Christmas with her family. But there’s something Fluttershy isn’t telling Sunset - something she hasn’t told any of their friends.

Author’s Note: I am aware of IDW’s ‘Equestria Girls Holiday Special’ comic, but this story disregards it in favor of exploring my own ideas.

Just because you're an orphan doesn't mean your holiday season has to suck. Rainbow Dash decides that, this year, it won't for her biggest fan and adoptive little sister, Scootaloo. And she gets their favourite Wonderbolt to help her give the filly the best Hearth's Warming ever.

Spike and Twilight are throwing a party on Hearts Warming day. They invite the other five over to open gifts, have dinner and enjoy the night together.
