This was really cute, KK. Managed to include both SoarinDash and a nice bit of Scootalove in here. Perfect for this time of year.

Also liked the nice bit of bonding that took place between Soarin and Scootaloo in this. Pretty obvious that Soarin and Rainbow are going to get together at some point based on this context, so it's nice to see Scoot get to meet him. Seems like they'll get along just fine.
Only thing that I'll say in terms of "critique":
Since Soarin's not really a very formal dude, I thought the word "Shall" at the beginning kind of didn't sound like him. Made the sentence read in a sort of English accent or something.
But that's like, the nitpickiest nitpick in all of nitpickdom, so don't worry 'bout it.
Other than that, no complaints, man. Thanks for writing this, and good luck with WRTMI, too! Merry Christmas!

6159388 Unless the story itself states otherwise, it never happened. Anything else is down to interpretation. The casualness about just not going back to the orphanage to spend a night at a friend's house or RD's without so much as giving the orphanage a heads up on where she'll be staying for the night is what led to seeing Ponyville's orphanage as being pretty lax.
