Rainbow Dash is just got back from the Gala. She is annoyed. She is tired. So when somepony comes to her house, she doesn't take it well. Even if it a Wonderbolt that just wants to make amends. But when Soarin' gets to the point the two start sending letters to each other. As they start sending letters between each other how will things go between them?

(Set during season 2)

Rainbow Dash had another day of training at the Wonderbolts. Everything turned out to be fine until she received a letter that turned her own world out. Now, in a state of restlessness and depression, Rainbow Dash hid herself away from every other pony as she tried to contain her sorrow. In her lowest point, Soarin' dropped by and offered her something that she could not refuse: A Midnight Flight. SoarinDash one-shot and a hurt/comfort fic in one.

Rainbow Dash has always felt empty, as if she was incomplete. It might've been not being a Wonderbolt, but... it was far deeper than that. Like there was an absence of something within her. But when a certain Wonderbolt rescues her in a blizzard and spends some time with her... how will she feel? And how will she react? Maybe being a Wonderbolt... was not the most important thing in her life. Warning on straight Dash shipping, constructive criticism is encouraged, flames shall be extinguished.

Almost a year has passed since Soarin and Rainbow Dash shared a now-famous kiss at Canterlot Stadium. Now, the blossoming relationship they share will be put to an unavoidable test. Their dreams for the future and dedication to each other will collide on the day Soarin dreads: Wonderbolt tryouts.

After waking up from an odd dream, Soarin takes a little time to think about his life with Rainbow Dash, and how far things have gone.

Soarin's life is perfect, that is until he meets a certain Rainbow maned mare. As he begins this journey called love he must ask: Is she worth it?
