A couple years after moving out of the Crystal Empire castle to live alongside and more like their subjects, Princess Cadence and Shining Armor decide that they are ready to have a foal. They got twin alicorn fillies, and couldn't be happier (they tried).

One of these fillies is Skyla, and aside from being an alicorn, is pretty much normal. The other one is Inova, a (literally) reborn human.

Now has a redux version.

It takes a certain kind of pony to become a personal servant to the princesses. One must have patience, grace, a clever head, and be a problem solver.

Dapper Dash is one such pony.

Although skeptical about the idea of having a personal butler, Dapper Dash soon proves he is anything but an ordinary butler. While most ponies would be rattled or nervous around Celestia and Luna, he seems to be calm, and even managing to keep up with them.

He's a true gentlecolt, and not only that, he is quite the learned stallion, impressing even princesses. Clearly he is more than than he seems, but not much is known about him. With the drama around the palace it may be good to have an ally that can think on his hooves.

After all, a butler is there to make life easier for their charges.

After years and years of working for King Sombra, it was a surprise to see six new faces, desperate for her help. Nopony had ever asked her for help before...
This was a decision that she regretted immediately. The following series of events made the mare wish she could take it all back. Maybe if she didn't betray King Sombra, she wouldn't be here. She wouldn't feel useless.

Collecting and classifying insects. Not exactly the most challenging homework assignment the Cutie Mark Crusaders ever received from Cheerilee, but with the combination of world class insectophobe Diamond Tiara and an accidental shrinking spell, what was supposed be a simple group project becomes a terrifying fight for survival against the deadliest predators to ever thrive beneath the grass.

Melody Swiftsong is a unicorn filly living peacefully in Manehattan with her brother. She had everything she could have asked for in her life: a loving brother, a comfortable life, a house to live in and education. Despite having some strange hobbies and tastes, Melody believes she's the most fortunate of ponies.

Over the course of a single day, life teaches her that fate can be cruel. Her entire life is turned upside down, and she loses everything she loved and cherished before. Now she has to deal with feeling like a stranger in a world that does not seem to want her, yet she still persists to be a part of it.

(Disclaimer: Although I don't believe it warrants the sad tag, this story is undoubtedly riddled with sad moments at various points of the story.)

There is a strong religious element in the 1st chapters. It fades away after that.

Don't bother trying to find the story I've crossed over with MLP. It's a story I tried to write a looooong time ago and never finished. I don't know what ever happened to it, but it was a pretty detialled story...about 150 pages long! I may try to recreate the story some day, but until then, I'm putting together profiles on the different Races, Species, and places that existed in the story. (Luckily, I remember most of the details) I'm not saying I'm going to limit myself to those creatures or that I'll use all of them at some point, but you can peek at them if you wish in My Gallery on Deviantart.com
