This story is a sequel to Fallout Equestria: Night of the Loving Dead

To some, the Day of Sunshine and Rainbows had a different name. Because, when LittlePip destroyed the cloud cover, all those vegetables from the Enclave cloud farms had to come down somewhere.

As Fen Runner dutifully worked on the ancestral farm, he glanced at the southern edge of his field with a feeling of unease. He wondered when that had started; that odd gut feeling that down there, in those caves, something horrible happened.

He gazed at the ancient wartime complex in the far distance, and hoped this didn't mean he would be the next victim of its curse.

Ancient Chronicles is a historian. Not exactly the most common, or useful, occupation in the wastes, even two years after the Day of Sunshine and Rainbows. He has gathered information from many sources, from Fluttershy to one of Redeye's generals, but never from a member of the Enclave. And so, when he meets one, he jumps at the chance.

Thirty five years following the Neighvarro incident, having read an old book on ancient Equestrian customs and culture, and with a special day fast approaching, Ditzy prepares for the week long journey to Ponyville, now a Hellhound Sanctuary, alone on a pilgrimage two centuries in waiting.
