It was only a few days ago when I lost my voice and Fluttershy had to sing in my place with the Ponytones. Then, just the other mornin', Rarity's asked me out to a big fancy dinner in downtown Ponyville. What could this mean? Have I done somethin' wrong? Is she finally kickin' me out of the quartet? Or, even worse, could an elegant unicorn like that actually be interested in a stallion like me?

I ain't no good at reading ponies, and I'm even worse at speakin' my thoughts out loud. Rarity is a nice, elegant lady, and I'd be a plum fool to hurt her feelings. Still, the truth's gotta come out somehow. There's only one mare in this-here town who strikes my fancy, and it ain't her.

But he's happy with his life. Life in Ponyville was simple, fun, and happy. So just what happens when two mares from Manehatten who have a different view come to visit?

Since then, Anthea and Turquoise have married, Nidra has learned to accept her loss, and the two mares have become fast friends. However, when an aged and ailing Anthea calls her friend in for one final request, will Nidra, at long last, be able to honor it?

Starburst, the daughter of Princess Twilight Sparkle and Prince Flash Sentry, has about all she could ask from life: loving parents, her Little Brother Best Friend Forever, and despite her seriousness and disciplined mentality, she has group of friends close as family. She also has an ambitious goal in life: she wants to be the first mare ever to become the Captain of the Royal Guard, which she's been preparing herself for since she was a little filly.

So... what would happen if she were to meet a pony that is an exact opposite of her?

All she wants is that one, perfect moment—the kind that she's read about so many times in her novels—with her drakefriend. That's all, really. And, knowing what a gentledrake he is, she's certain that's exactly what he'll give to her: a perfect, magical first kiss. She knows he wouldn't disappoint her. He never has.
