Stables were designed to stand up to any assault, be it armies, bombs, or atomic balefire. But what happens when they're attacked from within? The Rangers were meant to be an exploratory program to explore the surface for signs of life and resources, but they've been betrayed. Now the members of Ranger Team Blue have to find out who and why.

Evicted from his stable, Goldwreath is forced into a life full of perils and tragedies the like of which he has not asked for. Now facing entities of power far beyond anything he can imagine, a tyrannical military organization, a mysterious defense array in the mountains of Roam, and a foreboding phenomenon forming in the south, he must gather his wits and put his training to use in order to save the city of Roam. His enemies are tough, and his friends may not even be his friends, but no matter how hard the path he will defend the city to his last breath. That is, if he hasn't lost his sanity already.

"When all you know is gone, why do you keep on living? Ponies die every day, but it's how you live that matters. So this is me, on the raggedy edge, don’t push me."

The tale follows the story of Sunset, an orange Pegasus with a green mane and a setting sun on his flank. Set in the Fallout Equestria Universe created by Kkat this story takes place roughly ten years before the events of the 'Vault Dweller'. Though not branded by the Enclave, that is not from lack of trying on their part, Sunset's luck of always being able to fly away from the terrors of the Wastes has finally run out as what started as a normal caravan guard job takes a turn for the unexpected.

I will do my best to keep this updated on a fairly regular basis, though that all depends on how much of a hash I make of the rough draft. Thanks for reading!

My name is Frosty Winds. I was just your typical, rank-and-file Enclave scout. I had an ordinary life, living in contentment among my loving family and good friends. Things were good.

At least, I'm pretty sure that was the case; I honestly can't say for certain anymore. One moment, I was being recruited to take part in a routine Wasteland scouting mission, and the next moment I wake up as a prisoner of the Steel Rangers.

On the bright side, I’m not missing much. Just all of my memories. And my left foreleg. Nothing important, really. Pile on a disease I’m not vaccinated against and being a few clouds short of a weather system probably doesn’t make any of this much better.

As if that wasn't enough, apparently I made a deal before I lost my memories. If I don't complete my task I agreed to within a month, I'll die. Of course, it would be helpful if I could remember what the agreement was.

So here I am, floundering aimlessly about the Equestrian Wasteland. I have absolutely no idea what happened, what I should do, or how to uncover the secrets that lie within my stolen memories.

Help. I need an adult.

But during her efforts to help her people, Nova comes across strange recordings and artifacts pointing to a hidden pre-war nation. And when a mysterious pony calls upon her to discover what it is that the writings portray, Nova and her closest friends find themselves cast into a war fought to claim a legacy left behind by a secret pre-war society. She gets stuck in a world that no training could have ever prepared her for. While she struggles to fight everything the Wasteland throws at her, she strives to avenge her fallen comrades and to find out what happened to the once pulsating city of Coltsboro.

Frostlight is a weather Pegasus living in the small town of Sky Wind, established to show the bond between the pegasi and the Earth Ponies. He loves to make weather, but dreams to become a part of the Princess's Royal Guard. Frostlight and his friends, Static Sound, Cross Sticks, and Nightwind decide to hang out at the neighboring town of Ponyville, but after a dark incident, Frostlight is faced with a threat that challenges the safety of all of Equestria.
