The Grey Pegasus

Pony stuff author since 2012. Writes supposedly good stuff. Still haven't made a break. Still persistent. Probably highly unlucky. Or hated by the universe. Either determined or insane. Or both.

  • Tracking 14 stories - 222 unread chapters Because I'm a site veteran that remembers the days when tracking a fic was essentially favoriting it.

  • The Grey Pegasus's All-Time Tops 25 stories *THE* FICS. Classics to me. Note how weighted it is towards 2012-2013. Because that era... oooh, the goodness. Nostalgia.

  • One-Shots/Shorts of Honor 102 stories Where all the one-shots and short stories I've read and absolutely loved or are otherwise special to me go.

  • Awesome Completed Stuff 43 stories The best, insanely-awesome (multi-chaptered) stories I've read, 2012 to present.

  • Upper Shelf of Honor 14 stories - 297 unread chapters Best of the best (multi-chaptered) stories I've read, but incomplete. Would go to [Awesome Completed Stuff] on completion.

  • Lower Shelf of Honor 11 stories - 17 unread chapters Stories that are pretty darn good, completed or not.

  • One-Shots 94 stories One-shots I've read.

  • Completed Stuff 35 stories Stuff that I followed through to its end.

  • TGP's Picks of TNaB's Stuff 24 stories Because he's just written so much that the stuff I've read and favorited of his just gets their own shelf. Alternatively: "Remember that year when TNaB was really popular and wrote stuff like every week?"

  • The Nostalgia Shelf 10 stories Everything 2012-Early 2014 that I like/remember because nostalgia. Remember when Twilight wasn't an alicorn? No? Then you must have missed out.

This could be the story of any small boy and his friends. But it just so happens, that this is the story of the friends of one particular small boy: Christopher Robin.

And the happy pink pony who blusters into the Hundred Acre Woods one particularly windsome Windesday.

Join Tigger, Eeyore, Winnie the Pooh, and the rest of the inhabitants of the Hundred Acre Wood as they meet new friends and explore a new, colorful land called Equestria, and help their new friend get home.

If they can ever find it, that is. Not that they're in any great hurry.

Much thanks to my prereader, Belligerent Sock.

In which the Princess of the Night and co-ruler of Equestria takes the second-person perspective, and has her way with it, because she knows just about as much as how you tick as you do about how she does. Because who better to talk about perspective than the pony that still uses the royal 'we' from time to time?

I wrote this for a "Literature of War" class, and the teacher said it could be as ridiculous as we want. Upon review, I was one of the few to get an A. He told me I should post it to a fanfic site, so I am.

As hinted at by the title, this is a ponified version of the raid on Osama Bin Laden's compound in May 2011. I put in hours of research to make it as accurate as possible, but with, you know, ponies.

Applejack introduces Twilight to her new favorite eatery, but everything's kind of... weird.

Why is that draconequus behind the counter so familiar?

Why are the bees so tasty?

Is there something fetid in Equestria?

Only Carlestia can say for sure.

Fourth-place finalist in the October 2012 writeoff, "Deal With the Devil".

Guess what? I just found my way to the magical land of Equestria! Well, not so much 'found' as 'stumbled upon'... Wellll, not so much 'stumbled upon' as 'randomly appeared there for no reason'. The weird thing is, everypony seems to be taking my appearance in stride. Almost like... they're used to it...

Crossover with Kerbal Space Program, a game available at this site.

This story is a sequel to The Eagle Has Landed

When President Nixon orders, you obey. And now that he wants Luna on the LM and heading home, how is Neil ever going to convince her to follow?
But it doesn't even get that far, as an innocent mistake endangers the mission.
And even as the mission is endangered, tensions are rising back on Earth. While the drama plays out in Mission Control, just what is going on behind the Iron Curtain?
No one knows, but it's certainly not conducive to Apollo 11's welfare.

Sequel here.
