Well, dreams and reality are two very different things.

Especially when our newly minted captain has to deal with an empty roster, budget cuts, the first non-pegasi cadets, and the pressure of finding out your best friend is now your boss, let alone a princess.

If that weren’t enough to make her quit, her three wing commanders might. Cloud Kicker is a sexual harassment lawsuit waiting to happen; Surprise makes no sense; and Lightning Dust is, well, Lightning Dust.

Meanwhile, Scootaloo arrives at the academy, ready and raring to prove she’s got what it takes to be an elite flyer. Pressure mounts as Scootaloo aims to make her hero proud.

Rainbow Dash struggles to figure out why Pinkie Pie keeps acting weird, and seems so happy about spending Hearts and Hooves with hanging out with her, while also puzzling over the fact that Cloud Kicker and Blossomforth seem to be going out of their way to help the two of them enjoy the day.

Cloud Kicker and Blossomforth need to have their own tags, because they're awesome characters who deserve to have more stories written about them.

For Pinkie Pie, life is pretty good—she's the pinkest, perkiest, most partiest pony in all of Ponyville!

Okay, so things could be better. Her friends aren't having the happiest time right now, especially her beloved Dashie, who she hasn't seen in a while. Upon reuniting, an innocent conversation quickly turns into a sour argument, prompting Pinkie to ask herself all sorts of questions. Who's in the wrong? What should she do? Why are all the bad things happening right now?

And, most importantly, can she patch things up with Dashie before it's too late?

A side story to The Life of Times of a Winning Pony, chapters 18 to 21.

Scootaloo. One of the members of the cutie mark crusaders, and a giant fan of Rainbow Dash. One of the things that adds to her being a blank flank is he lack of flying skills. She's gotten tired of not being able to fly. The scooter she uses to move around is not enough. With the help of Rainbow Dash she hopes to find her flap and fly on.

When RainbowDash accidentally flops through the Magic Mirror, she meets an unexpected new friend... (NOTICE: this story is based off of MLP: Equestria Girls. It may contain spoilers. Read at your own risk.)
