“But Twilight... Why can’t I use it? It’s so cool!” whined Rainbow Dash. She had recently discovered that she could use still the magic mirror. She was coaching Twi in wing usage... she was still pretty clumsy with them.
“You know, Rainbow Dash, it’s really dangerous to use the mirror. I only had three days, and I barely did anything in that world. Well, it was mostly figuring out how to use those “legs” and “arms”, but that was nothing.” said Twilight, “Were you paying attention at all to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna’s warning?”
“Well, not really, but I do know that I want to try it! It sounds like fun!” Rainbow Dash retorted.
“Listen Rainbow, please, could you just help me? I need to know how these wings work before next week. I’m supposed to make another appearance with Luna, Celestia, and Cadence.”
“Ok, but after could I at least look at the mirror?” Dash begged, as she rose into the air and began to fly. Twilight tried to copy her movements, flapping her wings up and down and extending her neck. All she ended up doing was rising into the air, and then flopping to the ground. After a couple more tries, the purple Alicorn was able to stay in the air for 10 minutes.
“Oh my gosh, Twilight! 10 minutes... THAT’S AN ACADEMY RECORD!” Teased Rainbow Dash, as she jumped into the air and did a string of backflips.
“Well, I know it may not be the best, but I am definitely getting better at this! I think we can go over to the mirror now... You’ve earned it.”
“Thankyouthankyouthankyou, Twilight! I can’t wait!” Squealed Rainbow, while they flew down the road towards the Castle.

“...And that’s why you can only look at the mirror. I don’t need to get Luna and Celestia involved with this... I’m not sure I’m really supposed to be in here! Then again, I am a princess now, so I suppose-”
“Gee Twilight, stop worrying so much!” Interrupted Rainbow, “All I want to do is take a little peek into the mirror... it can’t possibly do any harm. Right?”
“Yeah, I guess so,” Reassured Twilight. They approached a door. “Well, this is it. Here you go!” Twilight unlocked the door with her magic, and they entered the room. Rainbow Dash stood in awe of the giant mirror in the middle of the room.
“I know I’ve seen it before, but this is awesome!” Squealed the blue pegasus, “Is it bigger this time?”
“Hmm, I don’t know.” Twilight walked around the mirror for a bit. “Ok, Rainbow Dash, time for what we came for. Look into the mirror already.”
Rainbow Dash flew eagerly towards the mirror, and stuck her head in. She looked around, and then came back out.
“Uh, Twilight? Where’s all the humans? It’s just purple in here...” Wondered Rainbow, as she pulled her head out of mirror. “Twilight? Hello?”
“Oh, sorry Rainbow Dash. I’m over here!” Called Twilight from the hallway. “Come into the hallway!”
“What’s up?” Rainbow called back. She flew out of the mirror room to see Twilight in the middle of the ceiling. “Woah... you I guess. Whatcha doin’ up there Twilight?”
“That’s not important. Just get me down!” Yelled a panicked Twilight.
“Ok, ok, I’m coming.” Mumbled the rainbow-maned pegasus.

“Woah, ow... that really hurt.” Dash found herself upside down against a wall, but not any wall that she was familiar with. “What’s going on here? Where am I?”
“Well, I’d sure hope that you know where you are. Of course, you may have stumbled here by mistake. That does seem to happen a lot.” Said a voice that seemed to be coming from behind her. It was definitely a male voice, but Dash had to turn herself around to see who it was. When she looked behind her, she saw that there was a boy walking up to her. She also saw that he had rainbow colored short hair, and bright blue wings.
“Sorry for stumbling in here like this but I was helping my friend fly-- wait. Who are you? You look just like me but you don’t have hooves...” Rainbow Dash responded, slightly flustered, as she got up and brushed herself off.
The boy in front of her was confused. “What? Hooves?”
“Yes, hooves. And wings - but I see you’ve got that covered - and some even have horns,” Dash said matter-of-factly, “Now, would you please tell me where I am, and maybe even your name?”
“OK, whatever you say. You’re in front of the Cloudsdale High, and my name is Rainbow Blitz, but people just usually call me Blitz.”
“Woah, that’s really weird! I’m from Cloudsdale, but not this Cloudsdale, and my name is Rainbow Dash... Many of my friends call me Dash, or Rainbow. Whichever you prefer.”
“Ok, I’ll call you Dash, if you call me Blitz, I guess.”
“Sounds good. Now, could you point me in the direction of the nearest private room with mirrors and-”
“You mean the bathroom? Yeah, that’s through those doors, hang a right at the trophy closet, and the 3rd door on your left.”
“Thanks so much... Blitz!” Rainbow called over her shoulder as she entered the doors.

When Dash entered the large glass doors to the school, she was awestruck by the amount of people walking through the halls. She looked around for a bit, then she realized that she should be heading towards the bathroom. “Ok, trophy closet... trophy closet... what’s a trophy closet?” she wondered aloud. She walked a little farther down the hall and found about a thousand trophies behind a glass wall. “Well, this looks like the best rendition of a trophy closet I’ll ever see,” she thought. She took that right and counted three doors on her left, then swung open the door.
“Ok, here we go, let’s look at the mirrors. I need to see what I look like here,” Rainbow said, strolling over to the mirrors on the wall. She stopped in front of one and took a double take at her reflection.
“What the... what am I?” she wondered aloud as she touched her face and looked at her arms and legs. She did a twirl in the mirror.
“Well, at least I still have my wings. I’m not sure how I’d get through this without them,” she thought, as she opened and closed her wings a couple of times. “Now that this is covered, I might as well start getting to know this place. First things first, find Blitz again.”
Rainbow opened the door, and was immediately swallowed by the mass of people walking around. She found her way back out the front doors, where she found Blitz waiting for her right where she had seen him last.
“What are you still doing there?” Dash called to him, which startled him out of his daze.
“Oh, I just figured that you’d come back here. You know, once you find a familiar spot, people usually stick to it. I see you have as well.” explained Blitz.
“Ok, whatever you say,” replied Dash, unsure of what to say next. “I have a couple of questions...”
“Fire away! I don’t mind at all!” said Rainbow Blitz, excited to hear what she had to say.
