To explain my choices of my Top 5 I need to explain a few things. First is I love Cadence, Celestia and Luna as much as each other (However Luna is still best pony in my opinion) and the first fanfiction I ever read was 'I found Love', by kuromi. It took me a month to get around to reading all of it and it was the most thoroughly enjoyable thing I have ever read. This is why it takes First place. Second, I recently came across the self insert group called PonyFall and was skeptical at first, however the combination of several different writers writing different stories about the same event that all intertwines together is amazing and they completely deserve their reputation for producing enjoyable fanfiction's with minimal to no shipping. Second place goes to my favourite PonyFall fic written by group co-ordinator TheSlorg, PonyFall: Australia. My third point is that I am a massive fan of the Twiluna and Twilestia shipping and of shipping in general. It is because of this, and the exceptional writing by SleeplessBrony, that Romance Reports, despite being quite the clopfic, makes it onto this list. However despite being heavily influenced by Twiluna shipping Oldnew Luna blew me away with the different approach to the commonplace Twiluna shipping fanfics. Finally is the Elements of Gaming. now in my own opinion this isn't the greatest fic out of all the ones I have read, however it is interesting and is centered around a subject (and pasttime) which I thoroughly enjoy, Gaming. Be it PC, XBox or PS3 I will most probably enjoy it. And when I saw and then continued to read this I laughed so many times during the Team Fortress 2 chapter that my sides hurt. It is because of this that it squeezed into this otherwise reserved spot.
