Spanner Wrench is a quiet sort. Everypony in town knows his name and where he lives, but none of them have ever been inside his home. He lives alone, as far as they can tell, and doesn't seem to have any friends. They all know, though, that if they need something fixed he's the stallion to see.

For Spanner Wrench, this is a cage of his own design. A waking nightmare he secretly longs to desperately escape. At a loss as to what he should do, he pays a visit to the local orphanage, Small Steps Home for Orphaned Ponies. There, he hopes to find the young pony who will save him from himself.

A story set in the Who We Become universe, which is the creative property of Krickis. Self-described by her as a "horse soap opera", WWB is a long-running series focused around realistic depictions of the drama of everyday life. It is not necessary to read any WWB stories to understand this one, but there will be references to events and characters from WWB, most notably the story Acts of Love.

Kantai Collection/MLP. Kantai Collection(KanColle) is a Japanese browser game, with an anime adaptation, featuring characters, known as fleetgirls, named after and based off of IJN warships of the Second World War, along with characters based off ships from other nations and from the same time period.

Shooting stars and meteors are nothing unusual, but not long after moving to Ponyville Twilight Sparkle noticed more and more of them, along with other strange celestial phenomenon, and has taken to watching them each night. As she watches them through her telescope one such night, she takes notice of something that will forever change Equestria's understanding of the universe, and leave them to ask that question so often asked.

When their train runs empty of its fuel reserves on the way to Appleloosa, Drawbar and his brother Axle Box are stranded deep in the forest. With no way of calling for assistance it's up to the two of them to find a way to get the locomotive moving again. Their search brings them to a quiet lumber mill, where they'll find more than just a way home.

The Mid-Morning War. An event that lasted but a scant few hours, but irrevocably changed Equestria forever. At the helm of this event were the Alicorn princesses; two whose age and bond goes back to long before Equestria existed, and a third who was a recent addition to the mighty Alicorn race; Princess Cadance. When Cadance is entrusted with a disturbing truth by the elder Alicorns her conscience compels her to tell her husband, Shining Armor, the young Alicorn never once realizing the chaos and destruction her words would wrought upon Equestria.

Impossible odds. That is what the Equestrians have always overcome. With hardship comes happiness, and continued peace is their goal. They had always worked out differences and problems with the other races, but what happens when an alien race comes along and propagates violence and war? What happens when that race encourages other races to do the same? And what happens when ancient Gods, ones who have been gone for a millennium, return?

In their darkest days the Equestrians will have to stand and fight when their entire world is in danger, and though they may survive in being, they may not survive in spirit.
