Years have passed since Spike gained the title of Friendship Ambassador. While he has grown both in age and stature, he has also grown farther from the mare he fawned over in his youth.

When the two finally convene once again over coffee, loose ends undoubtedly rise to the surface.

Takes place between Episodes 25 and 26 of Season 9. Spike be an adult.

No matter how high a pegasus flies, they are bound to fall one way or another. For some, the fall is far less literal than others. Sometimes a pony can fall on the inside.

Such can be said for Spitfire who, after a botched routine, thinks that perhaps her days as the Wonderbolts captain are numbered.

Fluttershy sets out to prove her otherwise.

When Vinyl's headphones break, it doesn't mean much to Octavia, but to Vinyl, it means so much more. Since she moved in with her new marefriend, Vinyl hadn't gone a day without listening to music for hours on end.

Now, without her precious music and Octavia out of the house, the memories of him creep their way to the front of her mind, ready to serenade her with a different, chilling tune.

With another night of drinks comes another visit to Octavia's house for Vinyl. The reasons for both are as they have been for the past while.

Despite the somewhat recent bad blood between the two, Octavia can't see somepony once dear to her suffer.
