This story is a sequel to Escaping from Celestia

After her permanent relocation to Unicornia, Twilight Sparkle lets her parents know that if they want to see her that she will not return to Canterlot, they will have to travel to see her. They had initially planned on meeting up in Dodge Junction for Hearth's Warming but given the nature of Unicornia, Twilight forgets when Hearth's Warming is so her parents have to brave the dark forests to come see her.

Several months ago Starlight had a horrible nightmare where two strangers came into her room and attempted to wipe her out. Ever since then she had been scared that the ponies in it were real. Eventually though, she would discover for herself whether they were real or not.

After taking over the friendship school, Starlight Glimmer begins to get frustrated. It isn't running the school itself that is frustrating her, it is one particular individual and his interest in her. After doing some deep thinking and talking with Trixie and Phyllis, she comes up with a magical plan to fix the problem. Thing is, she might take things a few steps too far.

Izzy Moonbow, ever the curious unicorn, runs across a strange book while helping her marefriend Sunny go through the ancient artifacts her father had stored in a closet. Needless to say, Izzy's gonna have fun, right?

Grogar returns to his old lair after thousands of years in exile only to discover that his bell had been there. He then goes on a search for it only to discover that three villains are using his magic. Naturally he is not pleased. He then decides to take his bell back.

Rivet, the last remaining Alicorn has had a very long life. He is known as the last bridge between Imperial Equestria and modern Equestria. Despite being over two thousand years old, he has never discovered love, until a special earth pony mare from back east comes his way.

This story takes place in the year 1979 of Equestria's contemporary (post-Celestial) era.
