The day of Princess Celestia's birthday has arrived. This was supposed to be a happy occasion, not only for Celestia, but all of her subjects and loved ones. But all that she can think of is what transpired on her birthday all of those years ago.

Celestia has kept secrets from her loving public. But she fears that one day they might all become known by the ponies of Equestria. Despite her fears, Celestia has managed to keep them locked away for thousands of years.

But all of her hard work might be for nothing, for when the one secret that Celestia has tried her hardest to keep buried six feet under comes back from the dead, everything changes for her.

This story is a sequel to The Lust for Power

Ever since the events at the Wonderbolts Training camp, Lightning Dust didn't have the heart to go back to her friends and families and tell them what happened. She couldn't stand to disappoint anypony else in her life...

When Lightning arrives in Ponyville to hopefully apologize to Rainbow Dash for what happened at the Wonderbolts Academy , she is nearly killed in a freak forest fire. But a stallion comes to her rescue, and saves her life, her original plans are thrown out of whack.

Now Lightning can't get him away from her. And when she fears that somebody is following her, she'll have to spend more time with this stallion than she's comfortable with.

And maybe that's not such a bad thing.

Idea came to me after listening to this song.

Arkane Vander was always pushed around as a child. He was never respected, nor loved by his parents. Why would they? They keep telling him that he is nothing more than a dreck, that he served no purpose. And after being told that for years, he's begun to believe it himself.

The only thing he really wants is the power to make his parents regret what they've said to him and what they have done to him. The power matched by none.

But is it really what he wants?

Char Gen and Xavier Priston are Equestria's best scientists. Even though they live in a world where magic is a fact of life, they are still greatly admired for their studies. Their discoveries have benefitted Equestria, as well as other regions. Everything is looking up for them. Until she came to their lives.

Glisten Vial was a mysterious mare. She walked into their laboratory, offering them money for their future projects. And to make sure that they said yes, she offered them the things that they greatly desired. The only thing she asked in return was for them to conduct some experienments for her.

What seemed like a great partnership, soon turned into a nightmare. One failed experiment created terrifying monsters, released all of their test subjects, and destroyed their laboratory. To make things even worse, each test subject and monster want revenge.

After learning that his injuries qualify him to go to the Make a Wish foundation, he couldn't be happier. This foundation is known for making everyone's wish come true, even if it is impossible. He wishes to spend some few hours with the mane 6. But where there is a brony, there is a troll.
Can't anything make his wish come true?
