The day of Princess Celestia's birthday has arrived. This was supposed to be a happy occasion, not only for Celestia, but all of her subjects and loved ones. But all that she can think of is what transpired on her birthday all of those years ago.
Celestia has kept secrets from her loving public. But she fears that one day they might all become known by the ponies of Equestria. Despite her fears, Celestia has managed to keep them locked away for thousands of years.
But all of her hard work might be for nothing, for when the one secret that Celestia has tried her hardest to keep buried six feet under comes back from the dead, everything changes for her.

I notice the story that the colts and fillies tell about Celestia mentions 3 Alicorns at the end but only says 2 where ever born, pretty sure that's a mistake.
I give the over all story a C-, the idea has been done before and better, but it certainly wasn't a terrible story.

The first version of the story is presumably one that Celestia edited down severely, removing mention of what happened to the creators and the 3rd Alicorn. It only mentioned Celestia being born then Luna, the 3rd Alicorn is not mentioned in that version, so the line "Even more years passed, and the three girls became the best of friends." is a mistake, it should say two, because as far as the Equestrians know there are only two Alicorns.
