Assuming she hasn't tied Soarin's wings down and bucked him off the roof. It looks here like they've got a relationship going, so I *really* hope that what Soarin pulled here wasn't against their rules - because if it was, then he just went and, on a whim, decided to cheat on her.

While that is a good point, you have to remember that Spitfire is essentially, at least in most fics it seems, his boss as she is the team captain and would be pissed if he was too tired from being out all night doing who knows what (or who in this case) to perform at the next show.
