Umm... Yeah.
No offense, but it really did escalate quickly. I think that it could add more description or metaphors or all that good stuff we learned about "Show, don't tell". I know that I am not one to speak critically, because my stories are pretty bad, but I think it needs more emotion in it. I can tell that you really tried to set an eerie atmosphere, but you're putting that emotion all into the actions of the characters and not the actual environment around them. Soyeah.
