> PROLOGUE

	Everything was normal on earth, and everything was decent. Yes, there were diseases, war, corrupt things, bullies, death... But everything was normal. 
Then one day, out of boredom, a brony tried to contact the fictional land of Equestria. It turns out, after weeks of failed attempts, there is a method that works! Write a letter on a piece of paper, roll it up, stamp it, and throw it in a fire. The message will be sent to Spike, the purple dragon from Ponyville, and possibly Princess Celestia's fireplace!
Back in Ponyville, word got out that new creatures called "humans" have been discovered! Ponyville, and the rest of Equestria for that matter, were a BUZZ about these humans. 
Humans were what everypony was talking about! Then, a pony wrote a book on what little was known about these humans, and the humans are now the number one thing on everypony's mind.

> Are Humans Real?

	Twilight Sparkle flipped open to the front page of a new book she had acquired from Princess Celestia. The title was "Legend of the Humans."
Just recently, a human made contact with Princess Celestia via fire, a quill, and a letter.
Since then, there was a large amount of controversy in Ponyville on whether humans existed or not.
Humans were creatures who supposedly stood on two legs, had hair, and had two arms. Apparently, humans were very nice and peaceful, but had strange devices that allowed them to watch Ponyville and it's every move.

Twilight was so into this book! "Humans sure are interesting things" Twilight said, flipping through the book. Suddenly, there was a knock at her door.
Twilight glanced up, and she used her magical horn to slowly open the door.
"Heya, Twi", a voice came from outside. The door opened fully, revealing Applejack standing there, tipping her hat.
"Hey, Applejack. What's up?" Twilight asked, closing her book for the moment.
"Listen, I think I found out something about them humans everypony is talkin' about" Applejack replied.
Twilight perked up. "And what would that be?" she asked, eager to expand her knowledge about these new things.
"Spike was in Sugarcube Corner the same time I was, and he got a letter from an unknown sender."
"Really!?" Twilight gasped. "Did you read it?"
"I got a bit of it before Spike ran off with it. He said he had orders from Princess Celestia to forward any strange letters to her", Applejack said, laughing.
"Well?" Twilight asked, on the edge of her seat.
"I saw the introduction, and it said that them humans would love to visit Ponyville sometime soon, but they don't have a way" Applejack said, remembering the letter.
"Wow!" Twilight thought. "It would be amazing meeting these humans, if they are as nice as the letters make them out to be."
"I sure wouldn't mind it either" Applejack laughed. "I could sell 'em some apples. I wonder if they've ever had apples before."
On that note, Spike waddled through the open door, holding a letter in his claws.
"Hey Spike!" Twilight beamed. "What's that you got there?"
"You wouldn't believe it! I've been receiving letters from humans all day long! And I don't have the energy to send them away to Princess Celestia. Ugh" Spike mumbled, holding his scaly stomach.
Twilight gasped in excitement. "Did you read any!?"
"Well, Princess Celestia told me not to and to send them right to her-..." Spike started, but was cut off.
"LEMME SEE ONE, SPIKE!" Twilight cried, leaping over to Spike.
Then, she realized she shouldn't. Princess Celestia ordered them not to...
But, what the hay!
Twilight disregarded the fact, her excitement getting the best of her. She took the letter from Spike with her magic horn, and opened it. She cleared her throat, and read it outloud.

"Dear Ponyville,

Hi! My name is Josh. Before I start, us "humans" mean no harm. We're pretty much really nice! At least the ones who are sending you letters.

Anyway, I don't know who may be reading this, but, for the study of us humans, I thought I'd tell you a bit about us.

We live in a corrupt terrible world called earth. As you may or may not know, we have these things called TVs that allow us to watch all of Ponyville's adventures that occur.

We take your adventures and interpret them as entertainment, or like, a show or play.

No, contrary to popular belief, were not some new "species". We've been in existence for a bit over 2000 years! We would've contacted you earlier, but no one knew how until recently. You guys in Pomyville are probably being overflowed with letters because us humans have so much to say to you and we just discovered how a day ago.

Anyway, we live in a terrible place called earth. We have corrupt leaders, every other human you meet is mean and rude, and our crime rate is the highest in the universe.

I pray that, one day, whether I'm dead and gone, or alive and well, humans can visit Ponyville.

"Awh, shucks, them poor humans!" Applejack frowned. "It sounds like Earth is terrible!"
Just as Applejack finished, there was a loud thump outside.
Spike, Twilight, and Applejack all turned their heads toward the door. Standing there, wings spread, was Princess Celestia herself.
In a booming, yet comforting voice, she started, "I came to pick up the letters Spike has been receiving all day."
Twilight, feeling bad, gave Princess Celestia the letter.
"I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself", Twilight said. "Humans are just so interesting!"
"I understand", Princess Celestia smiled. "But I'll have to take this now."
"Yes Princess", Twilight sighed, nodding.
"And Twilight? Applejack?" Princess Celestia said. "I'd try to get those humans out of your mind. I may require your assistance very soon."
"With what, Princess?" Twilight asked.
"I don't want to alarm you, the events may not even occur", she stuttered. "I'll call you if I need to."
"C'mon Princess", Applejack chimed in. "Yeh can tell us!"
"I don't think it's time. Applejack, just continue being honest, and Twilight, keep up with your magic", Princess Celestia nodded.
"Will do Princess!" Twilight beemed.
"Yah have my word!" Applejack replied.
"Thank you girls", Princess Celestia nodded. "Spike, could you give me the rest of the letters?"
Spike, holding his belly, led Princess Celestia off upstairs to where he was hiding the letters that were from the humans.
"Twi?" Applejack said, looking over to her.
"Yeah?"
"Why do yah think she wants me ter keep being honest, and you keep up yer magic?"
"I'm not sure. I just hope it's nothing serious", Twilight shrugged.
"It probably ain't", Applejack replied.
Suddenly, Twilight got an idea!
"Hey, Applejack!"
"Mmm-hmm?"
"The Princess said we couldn't read any letters... She never said anything about SENDING letters!"
"Twi" Applejack said. "I don't think that'd be a good idea. Princess Celestia wants us to stop thinkin' 'bout them humans."
"Yeah, you're right" Twilight sighed.
Twilight put her book back with a hanging head.

> Return of an Old Friend

	A strange pony in a hood moved silently through the Ponyville garden, carrying a small bag in her hoof. A shadow from the hood cast over her face, hiding her identity. 
The pony, cape swaying in the wind, trotted past all the unique statues, one by one. Then, the pony stopped at the garden's most famous statue.

Discord.

The hooded pony slowly opened the bag with her hooves, and pulled out a small hoof-full of glittery powder.
The pony slowly looked up at the intimidating Discord statue, the shadow still hiding the hooded pony's face. She examined him up and down, from his talon-like feet, up to his outstretched arms. 
The pony sprinkled the glittery powder at the feet of the Discord statue.
This pony stepped back, staring up at the Discord statue once more.
Slowly, a crack in the statue began at the feet. The hooded pony smirked. The crack slowly rose up Discord's leg, spread to his stomach, and rose all the way up to the tip of his horn.
Suddenly, a bright light shone from the crack. The hooded pony shielded it's eyes and turned away. The light became brighter and brighter, and from that crack, more cracks formed. And from those cracks, more cracks formed.
From there, those pieces chipped away, revealing a dark purple scale.

VFOOOM!

The hooded pony stepped back and examined her handiwork. It had worked, for where the Discord statue once stood was a grinning, alive Discord.
Discord looked down at his hands. He slowly moved his fingers, looking at each one.
He smiled, "I knew you'd come. So, the plan is in motion?"
The hooded pony nodded, cloak blowing in the wind.
Discord smirked, "Perfect. And this time, no chocolate rain."
Discord raised one of his arms and clenched his fist.
"Ooooh! I just can't wait to start the eternal chaos, permanently this time."
The hooded pony used a spell that changed it's voice so nopony nearby could tell who it was.
"And I cannot wait to start ruling Equestria. I've been waiting a LONG time for this."
Discord stepped down off of his display stone and dug his toes into the pavement.
"It's good to be back", he smiled.
The hooded pony smiled through the shadow cast over her face, "Now shall we wreak havoc across Ponyville?"
"We shall", Discord cackled, pointing at a white fluffy cloud. A small bolt of lightning flew out of his scaly finger, zapping the cloud, turning it gray.
"And like I said" Discord said slyly."No chocolate rain. Last time, that one pink pony enjoyed it too much."

> Twilight Gets a Visit

	Rainbow Dash relaxed contently on a cloud.
"Another perfect day" she sighed, smiling, looking up.
Out of nowhere, she felt a warm shock and bolted up. She looked next to her. She was now laying on a gray, wet cloud, instead of a warm and fluffy cloud.
"Hey!" she said. 
She looked below the cloud, and her jaw dropped. 

Discord stood there, waving hello.

"What the hay!?" Rainbow Dash cried.
Discord said with a grin, "Hello, Rainbow CRASH. Remember me?"
"But you-... Stone for-..." Rainbow Dash stuttered in shock, her eyes widening.
She had to warn Princess Celestia! Rainbow Dash leapt off of her dark cloud, and zoomed across Ponyville as fast as lightning.
She thought, "Discord? Here? How?"
There was no time to think. She flapped her wings once more and went in for a landing right in front of Twilight's treehouse, which was standing healthy and tall.
She hit the ground, not breaking her pace, and dashed over to the door.
Rainbow Dash pounded on the door, rapidly.
"Twi! Twi!"
Twilight slowly opened the door curiously.
"Hey Dash, what is it?" she asked, concerned.
"Twilight! You wouldn't believe me if I told you! "
"Well, go on then!" Twilight said, more concerned.
"It's Discord! Discord is back!" Rainbow Dash cried, throwing her hands up.
"Discord?!" Twilight gasped. 
Then, Twilight came to her senses. "Dash, he's turned back to stone. Remember? Me, you, Pinkie, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy... We kinda used the Elements of Harmony and turned him to stone for... um... eternity?"
"I know Twi", Rainbow Dash said. "But I just saw him, and he waved hi, and-"
"Hey, wait a second!" Twilight said. "Weren't you just napping on a cloud?"
"Well, yeah, but then he-"
"It was just a dream, Dash! You and I both know Discord isn't gonna be anything more than a statue for quite some time", Twilight explained.
"Twilight, I swear. We have to tell Princess Celestia!" Rainbow Dash became more and more stressed by the minute.
"Dash", Twilight said firmly. "There is no Discord."

"Heya girls!" a voice called from outside.
"What..." Twilight whispered.

Discord stood outside, his large body casting a shadow into the treehouse. He ducked down and entered Twilight's library.
"Discord!" Twilight cried, backing up into defense position. "How did you-"
"Oh, I'm back with the help of a kind little pony! Isn't that great!? Now the chaos can start again!" Discord cackled, doubling over in laughter.
Dash chipped in,"Oh no you don't! We can send Princess Celestia a letter right now to protect the Elements of Harmony! Without them, your plan here is foiled!"
"Oh, silly girl" Discord laughed. "That is only part of the plan! Well, I should be off. People to anger, lives to ruin. Tootle-Loo!"
Discord disappeared in a puff of smoke, leaving an empty space where he stood.
"Twilight!" Rainbow Dash said. "Where's Spike!? We need to send a letter to the Princess, right NOW!"
Though still in shock, Twilight replied, "I don't know about that, Dash."
"WHAT!?" Rainbow Dash cried. "He was right there! How do you not believe me!?"
"No, it's not that", Twilight said. "Something tells me he WANTS us to tell Princess Celestia about his return."
"Twilight, I know it's shocking seeing him back here, but it's Discord. We HAVE to tell Princess Celestia."
"No, Dash. When you said that we'd send a letter to Princess Celestia, he said that it was all part of the plan. As though Discord WANTS us to send a letter."
"Twi, I see where you're coming from, but it's Discord. Part of his plan or not, Princess Celestia... HAS to know", Rainbow Dash cried, putting her hoof down.
Twilight sighed. "I guess so. I just think it's a bad idea. Discord, even though he's evil, IS a mastermind."
"Hey, if he IS a mastermind, I just thought of something!" Rainbow Dash proclaimed. "He wouldn't just tell us he wanted us to send the letter. Maybe he told us it was cool to send a letter so we WOULDN'T send the letter."
"Rainbow Dash, you're half right", Twilight replied. "Since Discord is a mastermind, he's probably using reverse psychology. That means we SHOULD send the letter!"
"Alright, it's your call Twilight", Rainbow Dash shrugged. "But I'm gonna go tell everypony else, maybe with Pinkie's help."
Twilight nodded.
"Get on that  letter!" Rainbow Dash called, heading out the door, and taking off into the sunset, most likely heading for Pinkie Pie.

Twilight sighed. She couldn't fully interpret what just happened. "Discord is back, and he's back to cause more chaos. Something tells me he's gonna be more difficult to stop this time."
On that note, Spilke jumped down the stairs. "Twi, what was that?"
"Spike, get a piece of parchment and quill", Twilight responded.  "We have a letter to send."

> Celestia is Held Hostage!
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

	Discord calmly pranced through the times square for everypony to see, zapping things as he went by, turning them into chaos-related things. "Hello, everypony!" he happily called.
All the pony's stood in shock, for there was nothing they could do. Discord was unstoppable without the Elements of Harmony, which were all the way back in the Princess' castle.
"How are you all doing? Miss me?" he laughed, zapping a celery stand, turning it upside down, and making it cry.
Yes, he made a celery stand cry.

Meanwhile, Twilight's letter arrived at Canterlot, and was delivered directly to Princess Celestia, who was having a little drink on her thrown.
A royal guard galloped in, holding Twilight's letter.
"Princess!" he called. "An urgent message from your student, Twilight Sparkle!"
"Ahh, probably her weekly check-in" Princess Celestia smiled warmly. She took the letter from the guard with her magical horn, and brought it up to herself.
The royal guard bowed and trotted out. Princess Celestia rolled open the parchment. She became concerned when she saw the letter didn't start with the normal cheery opening "Dear Princess Celestia."
Instead, to the Princess' dismay, it read, "Sorry for the urgent message, but it's something you must know about! Please take me seriously! I know, I couldn't believe it, too, but I assure you. Discord has somehow returned."
Princess Celestia gasped.
"Somehow, some way. I'm not sure. It happened about 5 minutes ago... Discord stopped by and said hello. At this second, he's walking about the town causing chaos! Please, check on the Elements of Harmony, and send some help to Ponyville while me, Pinkie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Applejack come for the Elements. Thank you!

From, your most trusted, faithful student, Twilight Sparkle."

Princess Celestia sat up in her thrown. "GUARDS!" she called. "Ponyville is in trouble. It seems Discord has returned much earlier than suspected."
The royal guards saluted, and took off, destination: Ponyville.
Princess Celestia leapt off her thrown and ran over to the next room where she stored the Elements of Harmony.
She trotted over to the door and stuck her horn into the lock. It lit up a bright white, and opened.
She was prepared for the worst, but that wasn't needed. Sitting in front of her were six shining pieces of jewelry, the Elements of Harmony. They shone brightly, illuminating the room, and Princess Celestia was relieved. She sighed. 
"At least the Elements are safe. Now, we just have to wait for Twilight and her friends and this ordeal could be over before it really starts", she thought.
Princess Celestia turned, relieved, only to be stopped.
Discord stood, blocking the door. "Going somewhere, Princess?"
"Discord!" Princess Celestia gasped. She got into an attack position, a glare in her eyes.
"Oh, Princess, come on, there's no need for fighting."
"You won't get away with the Elements of Harmony. I don't know how you got in here, but I have guards surrounding the primacies."
"Oh, but you see, Princess", Discord laughed. "It's not those silly Elements I'm after. They're SO last year anyway."
"Then why are you here?"
"I... Require your assistance", Discord chuckled.
"What-" the Princess started, but was cut off.
"CHANGELINGS!" Discord called out.
Princess Celestia gasped and looked up. There were about 20 small changelings hovering in the air. In a second, they all darted for Princess Celestia and grabbed her, and she was captured within 5 seconds.
"Discord! You won't get away with this!"
"But I already have" Discord laughed. "My plan has been moving oh-so smoothly so far."
"The girls will be here soon, and you'll be done for", Princess Celestia cried, struggling against the changelings.
"Good point, Princess. But I've already taken the custody of, shall we say, fixing up the Elements of Harmony."
Princess Celestia's eyes widened. "What have you done with the Elements!?"
"Well, I'm not gonna talk in riddles or mess around with you this time. Long story short, they're pretty much bombs now. Girls try to activate them, kabloom goes your castle!"
"You wouldn't!" Princess Celestia gasped.
"But I already did! Mwahahaha!"
At that second, the strange hooded pony that brought Discord back to life slowly walked into the room.
"I see everything has gone well so far", the hooded pony said. "Not so powerful now, are you... Princess?"
"Release me at once! GUARDS! GUARDS!" Princess Celestia called, still being held down by the wave of changelings.
"Oh, we've taken care of them as well", the hooded pony sneered. With a magic horn under her hood, she picked up something outside.
Princess Celestia watched in horror as, in a wheelbarrow, 10 statues rolled in.
But these statues weren't always statues. They were once Princess Celestia's royal guards. She spotted a stone version of Shining Armor, Twilight's older brother.
"No!" the Princess cried. "What have you done!?"
Discord asked, "Um, what does it look like? It's not like we turned them to stone or anything."
The hooded pony hissed, "Now is not the time for joking, Discord."
"Like I said, the girls will be here soon", the Princess stated. "Even if the Elements are useless, they'll find a way to save me and the rest of Equestria!"
"Well, how, silly girl!?" Discord cackled. "The only way they can beat us is being linked together with magic! And only the Elements could do that! Sorry Princess. You're ruling has ended!"
The hooded pony put in, "Indeed it has. And I am now the ruler of Equestria."
"Whoever you are, what did you have against me!?" Princess Celestia asked.
"Time will tell, ex-princess", the hooded pony laughed.
The hooded pony slowly walked past the wheelbarrow of stone guards and climbed up the steps to the Princess' throne. The pony sat down, sighing.
"Since I have become the new ruler, there is no need to hide myself anymore."
The pony slowly reached up and grabbed the hood.
She threw it back, exposing her face.

"No..." Princess Celestia whispered.

Sitting on the throne was none other...

Than Princess Luna.

> The Fall of an Enemy

	"LUNA!" Princess Celestia cried. "Why!? I thought we had made up! I apologized, you apologized! You were my equal!"
"It wasn't good enough", Princess Luna growled. "1000 years being stuck in that blasted moon. Sorry won't cut it. You were always looked at as the dominant sister."
A tear slid down Princess Celestia's cheek as the changelings' grip grew tighter.
"But not anymore", Princess Luna finished, her dark blue mane blowing in the wind.

As more chaos spread in Ponyville, word got out that there was a new ruler. Princess Celestia had been overthrown by her own sister, Princess Luna.

Everything was over turned. The skies were always gray no matter how hard the Pegasus ponies tried to push the clouds out. Everlasting cold rain poured down... And it wasn't chocolate. Pinkie Pie was enraged by this. 
Ponies had started to pack up their things. If Ponyville got worse, they would all have to move out. The rain soaked everything, and everywhere you turned, things were far from ordinary. Ponies' houses had literally been flipped upside down. All flowers in Ponyville were dead, and in their place were pots and pans. HUGE animals were running around everywhere. Ponyville was a rainy, muddy, destroyed mess.

Twilight, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity got together in times square.
"We MUST put an end to this! I can't take much more of this wretched rain!" Rarity moaned.
"And..." Pinkie Pie whimpered. "It... Isn't... Chocolate..."
Twilight spoke up. "Discord and Princess Luna may be in control, but we still have the Elements of Harmony. We just have to go to the castle, get the Elements, and this will all be over!"
"It's a darn shame!" Applejack mumbled. "Just as soon as we were gettin' to know them humans!"
Twilight replied, "We have to get those humans off our minds for now, we've got much bigger problems on our hooves."
"Like how there's no chocolate rain!" Pinkie cried. "How can you have eternal chaos without chocolate rain!?"
"We've gotta make an attack plan", Rainbow Dash said, digging her hoof in the mud.
"I do hope this goes well!" Rarity exclaimed.
"It will Rarity", Twilight replied. "And I already have a plan. 
Everypony listened intently.
"It's simple really. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie, you run in and distract Discord and Princess Luna."
"Got it", Rainbow Dash replied.
"Okee dokee lokee!" Pinkie beamed.
"The rest of us will run in seconds later, grab the Elements, and I'll toss Dash and Pinkie their elements."
"Oh, Twilight, should we have a grand entrance?" Rarity cooned.
"Rarity", Twilight said. "Were kind of having a crisis."
"Oh, right", Rarity said.
"Then, I'll activate my magic, and we'll take out Discord and Princess Luna. From there, Discord will once again be a statue and we'll free Princess Celestia, and have her banish Princess Luna to the moon for another 1000 years. Any questions?"
Fluttershy was quiet, Rarity smiled, Rainbow Dash opened her wings, Applejack adjusted her hat, and Pinkie hopped up and down.
"Looks like we're ready then", Twilight said confidently. "Let's do this, girls."
Twilight asked them to line up together. She was going to try and teleport all six of them to Canterlot. She could do two or three without a problem, but six was a different story.
"Alright girls, are you ready!?" Twilight asked.
Applejack looked at everypony and said, "As ready as a Zapp Apple on the fourth day!"
"Okay", Twilight smiled. She closed her eyes, focused, and her horn lit up a purple color.

CRACK

There was a rush of wind and the Mane 6 were standing in front of the dark, gloomy castle. The skies were a darkish gray. Rain covered the sky and ground. It was as though Canterlot had been turned darker in color altogether.
"It looks... Different", Pinkie examined.
"You don't say", Rainbow Dash mumbled.
They all looked up the long flight of stairs to the castle doors, casting a ghastly shadow on to them.
"Well, it's now or never", Rainbow Dash shrugged. "C'mon Pinkie!"
"Okee dokee lokee!" Pinkie smiled. 
The two crept up the stairs, slowly, ignoring the rain. They reached the top, and leaned up against the large purple doors.
Rainbow Dash glanced over to Pinkie, who was fidgety, trying to control her excitment.
A bolt of lightining struck in the distance.

"One... Two..." Rainbow Dash started.

"THREE!" Pinkie shouted with joy.

The two barged into the castle.
Sitting on the throne was a shocked Princess Luna. At the bottom of the throne sat a tied up and gagged Princess Celestia. Sitting by the left of the throne was a scaly smiling Discord, who was swaying his tail back and fourth.
"Come to stop us?" Discord said, nodding. "Go right ahead, the elements are right there!"
Also, sitting in the middle of the room, were the six elements lined up next to one another.
Pinkie looked at Luna and screamed, "PARTY!!!"
Pinkie Pie pulled out her "party canon" and shot it, streamers filling the room, scattering everywhere.
Rainbow Dash darted at the throne and spun around it in circles as Twilight, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Applejack ran through the door.
Not thinking, they ran for the Elements. Nopony realized they were conveniently placed right where they could get them.
Princess Celestia struggled with her ropes, and shook her head vigorously, looking at the girls.
Fluttershy saw, and whispered, "Guys..."
Nopony heard as they picked up their elements.
"Twilight...?" Fluttershy whispered.
They all put on their Elements of Harmony.
"Guys, the Princess-" she whispered, but was cut off by Twilight.
"Pinkie! Dash! Here!"
Twilight tossed Rainbow Dash and Pinkie their elements.
"TWILIGHT!!!" Fluttershy screamed.
The five ponies turned around and stared at Fluttershy.
Fluttershy bowed her head embarrassed, and pointed at Princess Celestia.
The Princess, relieved, shook her head again.
"Ah yes, the Princess does have a point" Discord smiled. "I think I forgot to say, I played around with them a bit, and activating them wouldn't really be... The best decision."
Princess Celestia managed to undo her gag, and shouted, "Girls! They'll explode if you activate them!"
They all threw their elements off, and they clattered to the floor, where they'd stay.
"You see girls" Discord started. "I learned from my mistakes. Because of your 'friendship', you are linked. And the elements linked all of you together, and that power stopped me last time. But, since you have nothing to link you together, I can't be stopped!"
"He's right", Twilight whispered, her heart racing.
Another bolt of lightning stuck outside of the castle, glowing up the dark room.
Discord chuckled. "Yes! I am! And I am also the one who threw Equestria into eternal chaos! You may as well call me your ruler!"
Suddenly, starting at Discord's feet, he was turning a dark gray color.
"What on-..." Discord whispered.
The gray rose to Discord's waist, coiling around him.
"Sweet Celestia! I'm turning to stone again! Somepony! Help!"
The gray rose to Discord's chest, and indeed, Discord was being turned to stone.
The grayness covered Discord's arms, and rose to his neck.
"NOOOOOOO-!!!!!"
The stone covered his face, and went to the tip of his horns. Discord was once again fully a statue.
It was still sinking in everypony's head. And during that time, Princess Luna leapt from the throne next to the statue Discord.
"He made a stupid mistake", Luna said, angrily. "He is not the ruler. I am."
Luna kicked the statue with her back hoofs. The statue rocked and fell over, shattering to a thousand pieces.
"That imbecile isn't ever coming back", Princess Luna laughed.
"Wh-what? Why-?" Princess Celestia stammered.
Everypony was in complete shock! They all wanted to turn Discord into stone again, but... 

Not to kill him.

But he was killed.

"Why?" Twilight whispered.
Princess Luna chuckled. "It was part of the plan from the beginning. Twilight would send the letter to the Princess so the Princess would check on the Elements. During the time she was alone with the elements, Discord would take her captive. And now that the elements are useless, I am on the throne, Equestria is in chaos, and Princess Celestia is under my control, I obviously no longer needed Discord. I was just going to let him be second in command, but as you can see, he was getting cocky, so I had to eliminate him so he would no longer he a threat."
"Sister!" Princess Celestia cried. "Please! Don't do this!"
"NO!" Princess Luna screamed. "You were always looked as the dominant sister! NOT ANYMORE!"
Princess Celestia, desperate, turned to Twilight and her friends. "Twilight."
Twilight stood there, still deep in shock.
"Twilight. You need to free me somehow. From there, I can stop Princess Luna, I just have to be free from these binds."
The six ponies finally came to their senses, and Twilight spoke up. "Don't worry Princess Celestia! We'll save you somehow!"
"I'LL SAVE YOU NOW!" Rainbow Dash cried, zipping through the air for Princess Celestia.
Pricess Luna's horn lit up and Rainbow Dash was thrown back by a very powerful forcefield.
"You really think it'd be that easy?" Princess Luna laughed.
Rainbow Dash, rubbing her back where she landed, said, "Don't worry Princess. We'll be back."
On that, the six girls turned to the door, passing the now useless elements of harmony, and the shattered pieces of Discord. Together, they walked into the pouring rain, as another lightning strike bolted in the distance.
> All Hope is Lost
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

	Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie all met at Twilight's library, one of the only places Discord didn't turn chaotic.
Rarity stared out the window. The skies were still black and gray, and the rain still poured. Pots and pans littered the ground as everypony was packing their things, getting ready to head out for better land.

Ponyville was torn apart. Nothing was the same. Everything was destroyed. Wet. Upside down. Ruined.
"It's simply horrid out there!" Rarity said. "We must do something!"
Twilight thought and thought. There was nothing that could solve this. No sort of magic. 
Not even friendship seemed to be working.
Twilight sadly said, "Sorry girls. There's just nothing we can do. The Elements were our last hope."
Everypony sighed. This truly was the end.
On that depressing note, Spike hopped down the stairs.
Spike called, "Twilight! I got a letter from a human again! And you need to read it!"
Twilight didn't bother using magic, she didn't have any motivation. She took it from Spike with her hoof, her head drooping.
She sadly read the letter outloud.
"Dear Twilight,

It's Josh again. Remember me? Us humans have been watching what was going on. It's terrible.

I think I speak for all humans when I say that I hope things get better.

Don't give up. You have never given up, and you can't now. Us humans are rooting for you! It's just a shame. You would need, like, an ARMY to stop Princess Luna.

Love,
Josh Black, human."

"He's right girls", Applejack said, trying the lighten the mood. "We're givin' up too easily. This is the fate of Equestria we're talkin' 'bout here!"
"Its just tough for us", Rainbow Dash said. "This Josh kid is right. We would need an army to stop Luna!"
"We may not have an army", Twilight spoke up. "But we have thousands of humans rooting for us. We can't let them down!"
Suddenly, it hit all six ponies at the same time.

If they could get the humans to Equestria, Ponyville WOULD have an army.

"We need to get those humans here", Twilight said confidently.
"We just need a spell or something to get them here!" Rainbow Dash cried.
"What pony in Ponyville knows almost every spell known and spells that aren't even in the books yet?" Twilight replied, looking up, her mood slowly lifting.
"Twi, I think I have an answer for yah", Applejack said. "But it isn't any PONY."
Rainbow Dash, Twilight, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Pinkie's ears raised.
Applejack cleared her throat. "I think we need to go see some ZEBRA."
"Zebra?" Twilight asked.
Applejack shrugged. " I'm talkin' about Zakura."
> Race For the Elements!

The six ponies walked out into the rain, their coats becoming soaked. 
The air was chilly and wet, and everything was ruined... But there was still hope. The humans!
The six ponies made their way to the Evergreen Gorest, and walked down the muddy path to Zakura's little hut. Water from the trees dripped down onto them.
"Uhm... Twilight?" Fluttershy asked, scared. "Are you-... Are you sure this will work?"
"We can only hope, Fluttershy", Twilight sighed.
Then, she picked her head up. She can't put herself down now!

Pinkie Pie ran up and knocked on the door of the hut quickly. The ponies were very excited to meet the humans. How would they look like?
Zakura slowly opened the door. Her face lit up when she saw the six ponies. "My six friends! What do you need? A spell or potion is what you seek?"
"Yeah! It's gotta be a good one too!" Pinkie cried.
The six ponies all said hello and Twilight spoke up. "Zakura, did you find out about the whole issue with Princess Luna and... that whole thing?"
"Indeed I did", Zakura said with a frown. "And such a shame it is."
"I think we have a solution", Twilight said.
Applejack spoke up, "You wouldn't happen ter have any, uh, spells that could transport them "humans" to here in Equestria?"
"I can't believe I didn't think of this before!" Zakura gasped. "Here, come in, come in, and close the door."
The six ponies slowly walked into Zakura's mysterious hut. Something was boiling in her pot in the middle of the room.
"I could form a portal with a strong fire",  Zakura continued. "But there are some ingredients that I require."
"Well, let's hear them!" Rainbow Dash said, ready to get working.
"The Elements of Harmony", Zakura whispered. "Their jewels will grant me power. Only they can start a fiery shower."
"Oh no!" Twilight moaned. "They're back at the castle! We should've grabbed them on the way out!"
"Don't worry Twi", Rainbow Dash said, puffing out her chest. "Me and Fluttershy can go pick them up in less than five minutes!"
"Oh... Me?" Fluttershy asked. "I can't go there!"
"Come on Fluttershy", Rainbow Dash encouraged. "You and I are the fastest ones here! We have, uh, yaknow, WINGS", Rainbow Dash laughed, flapping her wings.
"Oh, I don't know", Fluttershy said softly. "That's much too dangerous!"
Twilight spoke up, "Fluttershy! All those Elements are too much for one pony to carry! You need to go! For us! For Equestria!"
"Yes Fluttershy!" Rarity said. "You need to go! For Equestria!"
"Don't you worry, Fluttershy", Applejack smiled. "We're rootin' for yah!"
Pinkie just smiled. "Pleeeeease?"
Fluttershy took a deep breathe. Sigh. "Okay."
Everypony cheered, including Zakura!
"Way to go Fluttershy!" Rainbow Dash cried. 
Rainbow Dash stomped the on the floor. "Alright, let's do this."
Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy walked out of the hut and into the cold Evergreen Forest.
"You ready Fluttershy? Everypony's depending on us!"
"I-... I guess", Fluttershy replied quietly.
"Don't worry about this, it'll be a piece of cake. Fly in, scoop up the Elements, and fly out. Shouldn't take more than 5 seconds."
Fluttershy took another deep breathe. "Whatever you say, Dashie."
"That's the spirit!" Rainbow Dash smiled, patting her on the back, making her jump.

Together, the two took off in the pouring rain, right under those dark gray clouds.

In less than a minute, the two arrived in Canterlot. Canterlot wasn't fairing any better. Buildings were collapsing. Changelings flew throughout the air freely. The rain wasn't letting up there, either.
"Rainbow Dash, I don't know if I can do this", Fluttershy squeaked, scared out of her mind.
"This'll be no big deal. They're not being guarded or anything", Rainbow Dash shrugged. "So let's go!"
Fluttershy squealed in fear, but Rainbow Dash slowly flew up the flight of stairs. Fluttershy bowed her head and, even slower than Rainbow Dash, flew up the stairs, shivering in fear.
Rainbow Dash smiled mischievously. "I think I could grab them on my own. You just wait here and I'll toss you three of them, and we're off!"
A lightning bolt stuck a building several blocks away, a crack filling the air.
"O-okay..." Fluttershy said unsurely.
On that note, Rainbow Dash spun around and kicked open the door. The stone remains of Discord were being swept up by two changelings.
Princess Celestia was asleep, still tied up at the feet of Princess Luna's throne.
"Back for more?" Princess Luna cackled, sitting up, flapping her wings.
Rainbow Dash laughed, not answering and swooped down. There in front of her, were the useless Elements of Harmony where they had left them.
Rainbow Dash stuck out her tongue and pranced over to the elements. She scooped them up into her arms. She turned around saying "Nah nah nah, you can't catch me!"
Princess Luna responded slyly, "I can't. But my changelings can."
When Princess Luna finished her sentence, the two changelings put down their broom and sweeping pan and hovered where they were.
"Uh oh" Rainbow Dash whispered
She quickly zoomed outside.
"Fluttershy, it's time to go!"
Rainbow Dash chucked three Elements of harmony to Fluttershy, and Fluttershy caught them, looking amazed at herself.
At that second, the two changelings burst out the castle doors.
Fluttershy squealed, almost dropping the Elements, and took off in the direction of Zakura's hut.
Rainbow Dash mumbled, "Heh heh... Whoops."
She zipped off in the direction that Fluttershy was going, and the two changelings took off after.
"FLUTTERSHY!" Rainbow Dash called out, the wind rushing through her hair. "WE'VE GOT COMPANY!"
The two changelings looked at eachother, right behind Rainbow Dash. One changeling morphed into Fluttershy, and sped up, getting next to Rainbow Dash.
"Fluttershy-... Wait, Fluttershy is up th-"
Before Rainbow Dash could realize what was going on, the fake Fluttershy kicked Rainbow Dash, an Element falling out of Dash's arms, falling.
"Oh sweet Celestia", Rainbow Dash mumbled.
The Element of Harmony plummeted through the rainy air.
Below was endless mountains and trees. The orange sky darkened, and the rain plummeted harder.
Rainbow Dash called out to Flutterhy, who was scared out of her mind. "KEEP GOING!"
Fluttershy looked behind her. She saw the element plummeting through the rainy air. The two changelings, one looking like Fluttershy, were literally right behind Rainbow Dash.

Fluttershy's heart leapt, but then...

Fluttershy wouldn't let her fears go on.

She needed to help her friend.

Fluttershy, still holding the three Elements of Harmony, slowed down and was now right in front of Rainbow Dash.

"I SAID KEEP GOING-" Rainbow Dash started, but was cut off.

Fluttershy swerved to the right and kicked one changeling right in the face, making it plummet to the trees below.
The Element of Harmony was now so far away, it was almost out of sight.
Fluttershy swerved all the way to the left, getting in front of the imposter Fluttershy, bucking her legs back, nailing the changeling in it's face.
"ALRIGHT, FLUTTERSHY!" Rainbow Dash smiled.
Suddenly, she realized the Element was still falling. Rainbow Dash called to Fluttershy over the wind and rain, "WAY TO GO! YOU KEEP GOING, IM GOING BACK FOR THE ELEMENT!"
Fluttershy nodded, and took off towards Zakura's hut which was now just in sight.
Fluttershy slowed up, getting ready to land. 
She acted naturally... but inside, "OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH I DID IT I DID IT I DID IT, I SAVED DASHIE OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH"

Rainbow Dash zoomed to a halt, and then dove down into the direction of the falling Element.
Suddenly, both changelings, once again conscious, flew up from under one of the trees.
But they weren't going for Rainbow Dash. They were going for the Element.
Rainbow Dash put all of her might into this flight, breathing heavily, water from the rain flying OFF of her beause she was going so fast.
The changelings were growing closer, flying up towards the falling Element.
"OH NO YOU DON'T!" Rainbow Dash called. She excelarated to her max, and...
The Element was growing closer, but the changelings weren't too far away either.
20 meters...
Rainbow Dash closed her eyes.
10 meters.
She opened them, the Element glistening right in front of her, shining in the dark rain.
But the changelings were just meters away. Rainbow Dash let go of the two Elements she was holding, and reached out, the two Elements falling next to her.
She caught the falling Element in her hooves, and did a u-turn, catching the two Elements she let go of, thunder and lightning crackling above her.
She looked back, and the two changelings were still pursuing her.
"BUCK OFF!" she screamed.
She stopped flying, and the two changelings, without realizing what was going on, smashed into her two extended legs.
"And that's how we do stuff around here", Rainbow Dash laughed. The two changelings fell back down, into the trees.
"It's time to save Equestria", Rainbow Dash said, taking off for Zakura's hut.
This was it. The humans were now going to be able to come to Equestria.

> The Humans are Here

	Rainbow Dash landed at the doorstep of Zakura's hut.
The door creaked opened, and Rainbow Dash walked inside the warm hut, freezing and soaked.
Fluttershy was siting, smiling uncontrollably next to a warm, small fire. Twilight, Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Zakura sat up.
"Dash! You got the last three elements?" Twilight gasped.
"Had a bit of trouble, but I sure did, Twi!"
Zakura smiled, and walked over to Dash. She took the dripping wet Elements from her, and threw them into a cauldron over a fire in the middle of the room. Just like that.
Before everypony's eyes, the liquid in the pot dissolved the Elements of Harmony, cracking open the crystals. As soon as that happened, the green liquid began spinning and glowing. It slowly became purple.
Everypony gasped, but Zakura admired her handiwork.

The purple liquid spun faster and faster, and slowly rose out of the pot in a whirlpool. It cautiously began to form in the shape of an oval and thinned out. It stopped spinning, and hovered there, a big purple glowing circle.
"The portal is here. Humans can come to Ponyville far and near", Zakura smiled.
"Wow", Twilight whispered. "Here we go."

...

All over earth's computers, chatrooms and blogs were filled with shocked bronies.
"A REAL PORTAL OPENED, WTF!?"
"IS THIS LEGIT!?"
"IM GONNA MEET RARITY!"
In just minutes, the news made it's way to... the news. Reporters on TV screens flooded the world, describing a very bizarre story.
"Just minutes ago, a strange portal of some sort was opened that reportedly goes to... This is not a joke... The land called Equestria from My Little Pony. It turns out, this land of "Equestria" is very real, and just as it is in the hit TV show. My Little Pony fans, or, "bronies" are beyond excited, and have figured out that if you go to the My Little Pony page on www.Hasbro.com, and right click the "Meet the Ponies" link, and hit "Open link in new window", you will, as crazy as it sounds, be sucked up into a portal and appear in the land of Equestria. Again, this is not a hoax. We will tell you whether the portal is safe in not soon. More details in one hour."

Those who weren't fans of the show were not educated enough and not aloud to go to Equestria, but bronies were aloud to go.
Chatrooms and blogs were completely erupting.
"NO WAY", "SWEET CELESTIA, THANK YOU" "THIS IS REAL, O.O" "IF THIS IS A DREAM, I WILL BE THOROUGHLY PISSED OFF"

...

Back in Equestria, the Mane 6 waited excitedly. The humans were the only things that could end this chaotic nightmare that Princess Luna, and the now dead Discord started.
Twilight began devising a plan. She took a scroll, sat on the ground, and started writing with a quill.
"One by one, the humans will be coming out of this portal", Twilight started, everypony else listening closely. "We will get them all to group together in times square... Or, whatever's left of times square."
Pinkie Pie jumped up, raising one of her hooves in the air. "I call being the leader!"
"Um... Sure", Twilight said. "Anyway, once all the humans are in times square, we'll march and arrive in Canterlot. From there, we'll all charge the castle, and we'll end this whole thing. Deal?"
Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie all nodded with a smile.
As soon as Twilight finished her paper, the portal glowed up and and a large male pony, yellow with messy red and black hair, flew out of it.
Everypony stared at the pony.
"Wh-what... IT WORKED!!!" the pony cried.
"You're not a human!" Rainbow Dash said, confused.
The pony looked at his yellow hooves.
"HOLY CELESTIA! IM A PONY!"
Twilight realized that, all the humans were being turned into ponies on their way through the portal.
"Guys" she said. "I think this is a human, the portal just turns them into ponies like us."
The new pony laughed and said, "That's even better! I'm a pony! In Equestria! WHOOO!"
On that note, another pony flew out of the portal, and another one after that.

"Well, it looks like the portal works, and the humans seem happy with the fact that they're ponies, so I guess we could call this a success", Twilight shrugged.
Another pony shot out of the portal.

...

Back on Earth, on the news, TV reporters explained, "The portal has been deemed safe, but from what we understand, when you go to this land of Equestria, you will be turned into a cartoon pony half way through the portal. At this time, the portal is filled with humans and these ponies, on their way to Equestria."

All chatrooms and blogs were almost vacant; Just about every brony and pegasister were in the portal, on their way to Equestria.

The plan was in motion.
> Readying for War
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

	Eventually, just about every brony and pegasister were transformed into ponies, and we standing in the rotting town square, the rain drenching them. Luckily, they couldn't care less, as though they were warriors. They were all chatting about how unreal this was and how overly excited they were.
Rainbow Dash flew over the waves of them. She did a quick u-turn, and flew back to Twilight to give her a report.
There they were. Humans (who may have been in Pony form, but still) were in Ponyville.
"There have to be thousands! I'm gonna say almost 50,000!" Rainbow Dash cried, flapping her arms around.
"Perfect", Twilight said, a glint in her eyes.

The Mane 6 stood in front of the waves and waves of ponies, who were once humans. But they were no longer humans, they had left that terrible world of Earth and were here in Equestria, and being Ponies made it ALL the better.
Pinkie Pie, holding a megaphone, shouted into it, over the rain, and over the chatter from the excited 50,000 brony ponies.
"EVERYPONY! LISTEN UP!"
The crowd of ponies grew silent. It was quiet, except for the downpour of rain.
"OK! YOU ALL KNOW WHY YOU'RE HERE! PRINCESS LUNA HAS TAKEN OVER AND WE NEED YOU TO STORM THE CASTLE, DISTRACT HER, AND GIVE US TIME TO SAVE PRINCESS CELESTIA! SO WHO'S READAAAY!?" Pinkie's high pitched voice echoed and boomed through Ponyville.
The crowd stomped their hooves, and screamed and cheered, almost like a war-cry.
These bronies came to Equestria to live nice, happy lives. Even though they were kind and respectful, they still had that human instinct, and were ready to battle and fight for Equestria.
Twilight stepped up and took the megaphone. "Everypony! I hope you know that this is very dangerous. Princess Luna is very powerful and she has an army of changelings!"
The ponies all nodded in understanding. They were rearing and ready to fight.
Pinkie jumped in again. "SO LET'S MOVE!!!" she shouted excitedly.
The army of 50,000 pony bronies all marched, following Pinkie, Twilight, and Rarity through the rainy towns square.
Rainbow Dash and a brave Fluttershy flew overhead, monitoring the army, and Applejack ran up and down the isles of the ponies, making sure everypony was ready.
Applejack took her hat off and waved it around in the air. Rainbow Dash saw, nodded with a sly smile, and shouted to Twilight, "WE'RE ALL SET!"
As the rain poured down, and thunder cracked, the army of ponies marched into the Everfree forest, the trees overtaking them. Even from what the brony ponies had seen in the show, the Evergreen Forest had no effect on them. They were starting their raid to the castle, to end it all.
It was time. As the rain soaked the ponies and ground, as the army of ponies trudged through the wind and mud. The black clouds were darker than ever, everypony was ready.

This was it.

> The Battle to End It All
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

	After a long march through the forest, Canterlot was in sight. Buildings were on the verge of collapsing, lightning struck the ground, and changelings swarmed the air.
Pinkie Pie leapt up and screamed, "CHAAAAARGE!"
On that command everypony in the brony army ducked ther heads down, and sprinted. 	They ran up the large hill leading to Canterlot and the castle.
The changelings saw the army, and were caught by surprise.
Outside of the castle, ponies had begun arriving, and the changelings dove towards them.

And the final fight began.

All over the castle grounds, ponies were battling every changeling. The numbers were now even. Dirt was flying everywhere, the army of ponies fought vigorously, and the changelings, not even thinking, battled back. They were too shocked to morph, so they stayed in changeling form!
About 40,000 ponies battled against the changelings all over the small town of Canterlot. The rain continued pouring, and buildings began collapsing, almost crushing changelings and ponies. No one cared, for the battle raged on.
The other 10,000 ponies stood in front of the royal castle, grins on their faces. It was time to take the castle.
Rainbow Dash flew up the stairs, and Fluttershy did the same. Twilight lead the militia of 10,000 ponies past the rest of the fighting, and they began climbing the stairs to take on the biggest threat of them all. Princess Luna.
Rarity and Pinkie ran up the stairs, and knelt up against the doors. Rarity, though her coat was soaked, and her hair was ruined, grinned. "You ready, girls?"
"FOR CELESTIA!" they shouted, and kicked open the doors.
Princess Luna bolted up in her throne and Princess Celestia, still tied up, gasped with shock. She tried to flap her wings, but the ropes held her back.
Princess Luna screamed, "NO!!! WAIT!!! NOOOOO!"
The 10,000 stormed through the doors, and charged for Princess Luna.
Princess Luna's horn lit up and she began sending bolts of lighting into the army of ponies as a final attempt to save herself. She struck several, sending them to the ground.
It was no match for the ponies.
About 50 ponies leapt on to the throne, and grabbed Princess Luna, restraining her.
Twilight rushed past the wave of ponies apprehending Princess Luna, and ran for Princess Celestia.
A changeling flew and stood in front of her, but she quickly kicked the changeling out of the way.
The roof of the castle broke and rain began pouring into the castle. Changelings swarmed in from outside, and began fighting the ponies in a final attempt to save Princess Luna. 	Twilight leapt for Princess Celestia, who was still tied up at the bottom of the throne.
Twilight smiled warmly, ignoring everything.
Princess Celestia said, "Wow... Where did they all come from?"
Twilight laughed and said, "Long story."
Twilight grabbed the ropes that bound Princess Celestia and pulled. They broke and Princess Celestia stretched her wings.
In that amount of time, almost all the changelings were knocked out, and the ponies stood victorious, grinning. Princess Luna was being held down by about 20 ponies.
Princess Celestia stood up, flapped her wings, and shouted, "ENOUGH."
Everypony stopped and turned.
"Sister", Princess Celestia echoed. "You have gone too far. I can no longer trust you. I didn't want to do this, but I had no other choice. For destroying Equestria and causing so much chaos, you are banned once again to the moon for 10,000 years."
"You may have won this battle sister!" Princess Luna screamed. "But not the war! Even if I'm gone, Equestria will still be in chaos! It will take thousands of years to restore!"
Princess Celestia gulped.
It was true.
Princess Luna laughed. "And as Discord had said, the only way Equestria could've been turned back to normal is by the Elements of Harmony. A link would've had to been made between Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie. Only the elements can do that! The Elements were the only link they shared!"
Everypony gulped. The rain grew harder than ever.
"I've won", Princess Luna snickered.
Princess Celestia's horn glowed, and a white circle appeared around Princess Luna's body.
"I may be gone for another 10,000 years, but I win! Equestria is no more!" Princess Luna cried, laughing manically.
Suddenly, the room flashed white and Princess Luna was gone.
> It's Not Over Yet...
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

	"She's once again in the moon", Princess Celestia said.
Everypony looked up at once. Since the roof had collapsed, the moon shined brightly above them.
An outline of craters on the moon created a portrait of a smiling Princess Luna.
"She's gone", Princess Celestia whispered, a tear gliding down her cheek.
This was when everypony was suppose to cheer. When the 50,000 ponies were suppose to rejoice. The changelings were gone. Discord was not around anymore. Princess Luna was gone for hundreds of generations.
But nopony was happy.
The skies remained dark, the rain still poured, and everything was still broken and ruined.
Only the Elements of Harmony could've fixed it.
Twilight, shocked, whispered, "This isn't the big victory I was hoping of."
Pinkie Pie's mane flattened. Rarity closed her eyes. Applejack tilted her hat over her teary eyes. Rainbow Dash looked at the ground. Fluttershy whimpered.
"Only the link you six shared had a chance of stopping this. But with the Elements gone, we can't bring that link out", Princess Celestia said sadly.
Twilight thought long and hard. There were no spells that could bring out their link.
It was over. Equestria was destroyed.
The 50,000 brony ponies bowed their heads. The Equestria they dreamed of coming to was gone.
Princess Luna and Discord won.
"WAIT!!!" Twilight cried.
Everypony raised their heads, ignoring the cold rain.
"THERE IS STILL HOPE!" she cried. "I KNOW HOW TO MAKE THIS ALL BETTER!"
She walked over to her five best friends.
"Girls! The Elements of Harmony isn't the only link we shared!"
Rainbow Dash mumbled, "Get it outta your head, Twi. Equestria is gone."
"No! And Dash!" Twilight cried, a smile growing on her face. "You're the only one who can make this right!"
Princess Celestia, along with the other 50,000 ponies' ears perked up.
"Dash", Twilight said. "You also created a link between us! Remember! That Sonic Rainboom you did when you were just a filly! It gave us all our cutie marks! There's a link! You created a link when you did the Sonice Rainboom and gave us our cutie marks!"
"Oh my gosh..." Dash whispered.
It was true.
Princess Celestia cried, "Twilight's right! We don't need the Elements to bring out your link! What we need is a..."
Everypony's eyes widen, and they realized where this was going.
Princess Celestia smiled, "We need a Sonic Rainboom! One powerful enough to bring out your links! One powerful enough to restore Equestria!"
Everypony gasped over the wind and rain.
"Rainbow Dash!" Twilight cried, turning to her. "We need a Sonic Rainboom! Only a Sonic Rainboom by you will make everything better! Back to normal!"
The wind picked up, and a lightning bolt struck in the distance.
Rainbow Dash got a confident look on her face.
"Let's do this", she said.
Rainbow Dash flapped her wings and took off into the dark storming sky.
The 50,000 ponies stared in anticipation. Could this be it?
Rainbow Dash flew and flew, and flew, into the roaring, unforgiving rain.
"Be careful!" Princess Celestia cried, raising a hoof.
Rainbow Dash took off, going up, up, up, until she was out of sight.
Rainbow Dash screeched to a halt, and looked below her. She saw Ponyville in the distance. Ponies were filing out, moving on to better land. Ponies were abandoning Ponyville.
Houses were collapsing. Rainbow Dash saw Twilight's library crumble to the ground right before her eyes.
She turned her head to Canterlot. The whole city was flooded and dark. The castle's roof was missing, rain destroying everything in sight.
"NO MORE!" Rainbow Dash screamed.
She shut her eyes and took off downward, picking up speed every second, the air rushing through her mane.
She put out her hooves. "C'MON!!!" she screamed.
A bit of light began to form at the tip of her hooves and... it started to grow.
Within seconds, she was a speeding bullet.

Back on the ground, 50,000 ponies were screaming and cheering over the rain.
Rainbow Dash heard it, and sped up.
A small red light formed in front of her.
She ducked her head and accelerated to her absolute max.
This was it. Now or never.
The red light grew into a rainbow. They shimmered in front of her, glowing in the rainy night. The rainbow turned into an arrow, making Rainbow Dash go faster.
Suddenly...

BOOM

An array of bright colors erupted behind Rainbow Dash, illuminating the dark skies.

A Sonic Rainboom.

The Sonic Rainboom cloud grew and grew wider, driving several dark clouds away, revealing sunlight, after all this time of blackness!
Rainbow Dash screeched to halt and landed back into the roofless castle, standing next to Twilight and her friends. 
Everypony stared up at her Sonic Rainboom in awe.
It grew wider, driving more clouds away, and more sun shined down on them.
It's rays shown down upon Equestria and spread out.
The residents of Ponyville looked up in awe as rainbow rays flooded Ponyville.
Slowly, the mud dried up and turned into dirt roads.

Houses slowly began to rebuild themselves.

Light spread across Ponyville.

Flowers and grass were back. The sun shone brightly. Houses had grown back up in seconds.

The rain stopped, and everything was dry.

Ponyville was back to normal.

The rays spread across Canterlot, making the 50,000 ponies glow, drying their manes.
Buildings rebuilt in front of their eyes. The rain dried up. The sun began to shine. The castle's roof rose and went back in place.
The Sonic Rainboom covered the whole sky. In the distance, cities rebuilt in seconds, as though the sky was one giant rainbow.

Equestria was saved. They had won. Everything was normal. No more rain. The chaos was no more. The skies were bright. And everypony was happy.

	The 50,000 ponies, Princess Celestia, Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, And Fluttershy met up in towns square in Ponyville.
The 50,000 ponies stood together in a wave, the Mane 6 stood in front of them, and Princess Celestia stood at the very front, facing them.
Everypony was abuzz about the Sonic Rainboom, and Rainbow Dash stood a little more proud than usual, smiling.
"Everypony!" Princess Celestia called out, her voice loud and clear.
The army of 50,000 ponies grew silent.
"It is my pleasure to officially announce the end of the war."
The 50,000 ponies stomped their hooves and whistled, dust filling the air.
"And it wouldn't have happened without you wonderful humans", Princess Celestia said with a smile.
Again, the 50,000 ponies cheered and stomped, dirt flying into the air.
"But", Princess Celestia said, "I'd like to give my biggest thanks to the following: Rainbow Dash."
Rainbow Dash puffed out her chest and smiled.
"Fluttershy", Princess Celestia said.
Fluttershy lowered her head, embarrassed, but couldn't help a smile.
"Rarity", the Princess said.
Rarity stood up straighter, wearing a warm smile, her hair beautiful again.
"Applejack", the Princess called.
Applejack tilted her hat, nodding.
"Pinkie Pie", the Princess smiled.
Pinkie leapt up and cried, "WAHOO!"
"And", the Princess said. "My most trusted, faithful student, Twilight Sparkle."
Twilight smiled confidently.
The army of ponies cheered out, stomping and screaming!
"I'd like to thank you all for a job well done", Princess Celestia continued. "And I have sort of a reward. To the pony army, and to the ponies injured during the battle, I give them the opportunity to live here in Ponyville."
As soon as Princess Celestia said that, the 50,000 ponies gasped in unison.
"Yes", Princess Celestia smiled. "I heard Earth isn't too much of a friendly place. So, for your hard work, I was wondering if you'd be interested in staying here in Equestria for the rest of your lives."
On that note, everypony just completely exploded. They erupted in cheers and whistling and stomping.
Princess Celestia continued, "It's 5:00 now. At 10:00 tonight, a portal will be right here in town square that will take those who want to return to earth back home. And for those that wish to stay, well, make yourselves at home!"
The 50,000 ponies cried out in joy once more.
This was real. No more pain. They were here in Equestria. It was everything they ever wanted. No more pain. No more Earth.
Princess Celestia said, "So in conclusion, you have 5 hours to decide where you're going to go or stay here. And once again, thank you all for your help in ending the war against Discord and Princess Luna. Enjoy your time here in Ponyville!"
The 50,000 ponies began chatting and began to spread out, adventuring around town.
Princess Celestia began to walk away, but called over Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, and Fluttershy.
They stood next to a fully restored Sugarcube Corner.
Princess Celestia's mane blew softly in the cool summer wind.
"Girls", she said. "You performed amazingingly. You all played a part in making Equestria whole again. And for that, I thank you."
Twilight said, "I think we have to thank the humans. Without them, Princess Luna would still be on the throne"
"I talked to some of them", Fluttershy said softly. "Some of them were just like me!"
Applejack added, "Oh, and it turns out, they know what apples are."
They all laughed happily.
Pinkie Pie jumped up and down. She said, "Some of them said they couldn't wait to come to my parties!"
Rarity said, "And I met several that have already placed orders for my dresses! Oh, I can't wait to get started!"
"And you wouldn't believe it!" Rainbow Dash cried. "Like, 20 of them want to race me! I mean, like they stand a chance..."
Everypony laughed again.
Princess Celestia said, "Well girls, this is it. Equestria is saved. I think it's safe to say our lives can go back to normal now."
They all bowed, gave the Princess a smile, and trotted off, ready to get back on schedule.

Five hours later, about 40,000 of the new ponies met up in town square. Everypony had thought about it deeply, and these 40,000 decided they'd go back to earth and continue to watch the adventures of Ponyville through their TVs.
The other 10,000 were wandering around town, adapting to their new lives.
It was 10:00 PM, and a final portal opened, one that would lead back to earth. The moon shined brightly on everypony, and the breeze was warm.
Princess Luna stood next to the swirling purple portal that would go back to earth, right in the middle of town square.
The 40,000 ponies lined up. It was a very nice night. The stars shined, it was relatively quiet, and the moon was as beautiful as ever.
The pony's were getting their final looks around Equestria before they left back to go to their home planet. Some of them didn't really want to go, but they would've missed everything on their planet too badly.
Princess Celestia lined them all up, which stretched all the way across Ponyville. They all waited anxiously, and were still tired out from the battle in Canterlot.
Speaking of Canterlot, it shown brightly in the distance, the city abuzz once more, all the buildings lighting up, creating a cheery nightlight in the sky.
Princess Celestia spoke up, using a spell to amplify her voice. "Everypony! It was an honor having you fight for the freedom of Equestria. Without you, Equestria wouldn't be here. I wish you all the best of luck back on Earth. Have a safe journey back home! Again, thank you."
The 40,000 ponies smiled, breathing in their last breaths of Equestrian air.
And one by one, they all walked into the portal that would take them back home.
Equestria was whole once again. The chaos was over. Everypony could continue their happy lives, and the 10,000 NEW ponies could get settled in. Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie all went back to their homes, it was time for sleep. And they could sleep peacefully, for everything in Equestria was perfect once again.
> EPILOGUE

	That first night, a giant hotel was built for the 10,000 ponies who chose to stay. Their rooms were luxurious and the hotel was just outside of the towns square, next to Sweet Apple Acres.
There, everypony could live peacefully and happily. They had left Earth, and were actually in Equestria.
Back on Earth, due to the war, news about My Little Pony spread, and more of the world got into the show. Even though it wasn't perfect, the Earth learned from the show, and was a more happy place.
Overall, in Equestria... AND Earth, everything was well. Everyone and everypony lived happily ever after.
