This story is a sequel to Pinkie Pie’s Clone Wins a Game of Hide-and-Seek
Princess Twilight Sparkle helped Pinkie Pie clone herself to finish a giant gingerbread castle in time for the Gala. Twilight's going to find out which Pinkie Pie clone, with science. But somepony isn't happy to be pulled in as Twilight's research assistant.
This story can easily be read without reading the prequel.

Good point, I rewrote it to be clearer, and it appeared in https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Transcripts/Ponyville_Confidential (Twilight Sparkle: Listen to this one. "Twilight Sparkle: I Was a Canterlot Snob.)
And I updated the author's notes. I forgot to link to the overview of the series (blog post).
This was meant to be a much sillier story than other works in the series, showing the characters' actions and emotions but not their thoughts to an unlikely situation, and was somewhat more of a spinoff. I definitely spent more time on the previous works.
OOC (Out of Character?) - if anyone has other suggestions for dialogue, etc. let me know.
Part of that is a joke about a show song about an angry mob, "Danger, Danger"
