Years after a connection between Equestria and Earth is formed, humans and ponies are able to to freely move to each other's worlds, many ponies going to Earth, and many humans going to Equestria. But among some of these humans, include some potentially dangerous ones.
The Silanos, an Italian-American crime family, headed by Don Roberto Silano followed by his two sons, Gabriele and Ainsley, begin expanding their business into Equestria. Slowly but surely, they begin to rise in power, taking control and dragging many Equestrians into their business, and even getting close to many influential figures to gain economic influence.
Sooner or later, Roberto Silano will soon become the first crime boss to control two worlds.

The Silanos will say certain words like "murk" or "hit" instead of "kill" and I doubt Pinkie would know what those words mean so she thinks it means something like a fancy word for favour or something. Pinks hires them on a pony and realises what she's done and her hair goes flat and a big long depression follows.
That's just my headcanon tho

But, do the ponies ( Mainly the Mane Six and the Princesses ) eventually figure out the truth about the Silanis being a Italian-American Criminal/Mafia Gang Family?
Or do all of them still become naive and way too trusting of the Silanis?

It's too early to tell for sure, as even I am not 100% certain which direction my story can go. But to answer your question, I'm sure eventually some of them will catch on that something's off, especially Applejack who was already somewhat suspicious of Silano from the beginning despite accepting his partnership.
