Story needs some grammar corrections, the spell check has words spelled correct but a couple areas not the correct word etc
here are a few of them.
"I was a toothpaste being pushed through the tube" would be better "I was toothpaste being pushed through the tube"
"crown and hoof shoes on each of her feet" be better "crown and hoof shoes on each of her hooves"
"mane holding many different colors at flowed as if the wind was pushing it" be better "mane holding many different colors that flowed as if the wind was pushing it"

Could definitely use a once over or an editor. You got a lot of missing quotation marks. It also seems a bit strange for a young child to take so long to accidentally call their guardian 'mom'. 5 years to a child is like a lifetime.

Perhaps though I planned to have it as a joke later on when the story ‘catches up’ as it’s a dairy for Celestia to say “you didn’t call me mom the first time at ten” as a sort of joke. As I truly don’t believe we all remember our childhood that much eh?
