That was fun! And it made excellent use of its 1000 words of space, no damage to the story at all!
Edited to say: I was looking at this story on a rather small display where the word counts are tiny. I was not making some kind of weird sarcastic joke.
So nice to see another story about Best Pony being done on her birthday, and a lovely little vignette to boot. I personally would have liked something with a bit more sensory details and a slightly more drawn-out test, but I'm something of an excessive in that category, fufu.
I love these stories about Sunset hatching a phoenix egg because it would mean that Filamina is Sunsets test.
