That was a good story.
This was an enjoyably experimental bit of RariJack fluff. Admittedly, I felt like the no-dialogue setup worked a bit against it for the first section, as it did seem to stretch plausibility that neither Rarity nor Applejack would say anything given the poignant situation. Once the “Romance” tag takes effect, though, it grew on me quickly, and I did appreciate the heightened level of intimacy throughout. Overall, definitely a solid story, and thank you very much for the submission.
