Very nice story, good mix of worldbuilding and steamy action.

If I were to offer some constructive critique, it would be that italics are being overused for emphasis. I understand the purpose behind it, I just think it's too frequent and, rather than adding emphasis, begins to distract from the paragraphs.

When I read the original, I thought something like "This is lovely, but there needs to be more. Where would the author go with it though? Maybe it should just stay a one off..."
