Moonlight's Thoughts
Oh my Celestia, that's not something I'm going to forget for a while... I'm just glad that nothing went wrong, or I would never have forgiven myself.
I'm going to say, this won't go down as one of my smartest moments in history. After being judged and misunderstood by other ponies myself, I should know better. Honestly... I didn't know the full story here. Just because somepony seems completely fine on the surface, it doesn't mean they don't have problems in their life. I saw Candy as this young, idealistic mare who Sombra had met in the Crystal Empire and decided he liked because of her looks. I didn't see all of the horrors she had to go through just to get here.
I guess I should feel a bit of sympathy for Candy. I've faced trouble in my life, both before and after meeting Sombra, but I've also had time to heal and the right ponies around me. I was lucky because I was able to come to terms with the past and move on pretty quickly. Other ponies don't have that. So maybe I should be a little nicer to her. As long as I know that she and Sombra aren't doing anything behind my back. Without him, it feels like it's just me against the whole world. At least when I'm with him I know there's two of us.
But I'm just glad that Candy's ok now, and I hope she forgives me for my part in all of this.
