Honestly? Loved the entire story. The last two chapters at once was a nice surprise.
It's also sparked quite a love of magical conditioning and brainwashing... And I'll be honest I did enjoy the earlier chapters, with the scenes of AJ being "processed" and Big Mac seeing the eventual result. But did still very much enjoy the ending too.
Whilst am sad it ended, I'm aware it had to and I think trying to continue it would feel forced. Does make me interested in similar themed stories too now XD

It's not exactly consensual, given the context of the situation. Sure, at the time they're made into obedient, submissive wives/concubines, they're absolutely willing, but the process to get them there, and the lack of opportunity to refuse....

Mac is a complicated one, honestly. He realises what's happened, but the whole point of his journey is (spoilers ahead) his own brainwashing, which is far more subtle. It's not forced upon him, but at the same time, he's exposed to the norms of a society through the lense of someone who can only ever benefit from it. He comes to terms with an idea that is very appealing to someone in his position, if not necessarily moral. In the end, it's up for the reader to decide whether or not he's been brainwashed like his spouses, or if he's come to adopt a new way of life due to the shortcomings his own culture and society have visited upon him. Ultimately, the question is whether or not there's a moral difference between agreeing to something or being forced into that mindset, or whether there's any difference between one moral standard and another in the first place. But that's too heavy for a clopfic, so let's finish with; erotica sexy, people like. Me like writing it. Glad you like too.

Well, yes, that's part of the point. He's given free reign and a reason to say yes. He's the protagonist, and not an unsympathetic one, but the entire story is explaining his choices and decisions, not necessarily justifying them to real-world people, merely the people in the world of the story. Whether or not he's a morally good creature by the end of it is up for the reader to decide.
