Very intense. A good read, and a disturbing look at how far they would go to create a solution to the Changelings.

I know, right? I found the part that really sold it to me was the fact that this was apparently reconstructed in the far future, and the censorship is really them trying to protect both their ponies image of them, and their ponies in general - either knowing the atrocities of the past or actually going to that time period, both are likely to drive unprepared ponies to mental breakdowns.
(Or death, or invasion by changelings from the past, if they try to actually go to the past rather than just view it.)
