A sidestory set in the world of Starscribe's The Last Pony on Earth. Martha Roberts, a college dropout with a love for art, wakes up to some very strange circumstances. For one thing, she's alone. And for another, she's some sort of small unnaturally colored equine.

Always love it when some new PaP content comes about. Plenty of older stories that have sadly been discontinued for some reason or another. I hope to see more of this one.
Being dumped directly into winter is certainly one of the less luckier situations possible in PaP. Wonder if Martha will find much food after its had a good bit of time to go off.
Real trip down memory lane to see another one of these stories.
I haven't read them all, but I can tell you where many of these went wrong back in the day. Plenty of writers forget that storytelling is fundamentally about conflict, and instead they gave us wish-fulfillment travelogues with a starting infusion of pony.
We've got a great start here, I'm excited to see where it ends up.

Indeed. Conflict is very important. Forget who I heard this from, but a writer is the one who throws rocks at a character in a tree, as well as finding a way to get them down. I probably horribly butchered that quote...

The official Starscribe canon. At least going by the Official Canon Thread. I've only read the original, Founders of Alexandria, and most of The Coming Storm. Planning on reading the other sidestories at some point, though.
