I think this works so well as an intro chapter. It's possible I'm biased.
I'm always a sucker for writers who play with time, telling a story out of order. The fact that we open In Medias Res with the pregnancy test works to add quite a bit of drama to the actual sex scene, imbuing it with more weight than simple clop.
Well done, fun beginning, and I love where this is going.
