The artist called him a Sabretooth Tiger, so he might be a cat create, not too different from Capper in the MLP movie. I might need to ask him to be sure.

No, he's a smilodon, or as Trini from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers says "SABER-TOOTHED TIGER!"
I had originally written him as a pony but he tricked Ahuizotl into using magic to turn him into what you see here. In this story, he's the lucky recipient of an Equestrian crap shoot, turning him into something he would appreciate.

Some time next year I'm starting the Spiders & Magic: Civil War which will give attention to Tony Stark, along with Captain America and Princess Celestia, so he's getting a starring role at least.

I'll definitely consider finding a way to bring Sephiroth into one of the stories since I'm already using stuff from Square and I want it to be more than appearances from the characters. I just have to wait for the perfect moment to bring him in.
