"Every time I look for you the sun goes down..."

‘Twilight Sparkle. Gone, but never forgotten.’

And you lost me. This was already an AU just from the little bits you mentioned earlier. But why did you murder best alicorn?

It might not have been actual murder, but still.

This was a really sweet story ❤️
Good job

I saw the “romance,” “Twilight,” and “Luna” tags and honestly couldn’t click fast enough.

This has always been a really hard pair to sell me, but I think you did a good job of setting up a believable established relationship. I just wish the second scene had been as long as the first. It feels like the two halves of the stories are uneven. There are certain details that feel like they should mean something, but they pass by so quickly with the scene's brevity that I'm left puzzled. For example, is the moon being less bright a reflection of Luna's mourning or a sign of something more sinister happening to the planet? How would Celestia feel about the death of her student? You have a keen eye for detail, it's just that it erodes by the second half (though half might not be the right word) of your story.

Luna looked down, biting her lip for a moment, sadness showing in her own eyes as she nodded. “I guess it is, Twilight. All things must come to an end eventually,” she said after a moment, taking a deep breath to calm herself. “Even this.”

Ya when I saw this I was starting to have a theory on what the ending was gonna be, my theory was proven correct when I saw the last final words of the story:

‘Twilight Sparkle. Gone, but never forgotten.’

So just a little tip, can you please add the "death" tag whenever someone dies? Because I didn't come here to feel sad. Although the story was great nonetheless
