I remember when you used to make longer, better stories. Nowadays it feels like the description of your stories are longer and more detailed than the actual stories

I suppose you prefer quantity over quality.

Honestly, it's a mix of things.
Firstly, I do still write longer fics, but because of how long they are, they take time to go over and then upload. I do not have my own editor, so I have to edit my own pieces, this means I have to read, re-read, and even re-re-read my work and yet many errors still slip by me.
Secondly, my 1K Challenges are not meant to be a defining aspect of my abilities of a writer, I am not trying to get quantity over quality. Many of my 1K stories have been amazing hits that people still enjoy, while others are total failures. I currently do not have as much time as I have had before in order to readily write long pieces and whenever I get an idea, I try it as a 1K. If it comes out good, i consider investing into a longer story, if it fails, then I look at what the shortcomings are.
I do hope this clarifies my thought process, and I am happy you have read enough of my previous work to remember when I used to write longer stories. Thank you
