This story is a sequel to A "warm" Distraction
Meet Loveling, the adoptive daughter of Princess Cadance and Shining Armor, but Loveling is not what she seems to be. She is, in fact, the last surviving Changeling, given to Cadance by Chrysalis before the Changeling Queen froze to death. Out of guilt and responsibility, Cadance and Armor chose to raise this Changeling as if she was their own foal. But there are still old feelings and past resentments that may make little Loveling's life a tad difficult.

Great idea for a story. I can't wait to read what happens next. I also can't wait to read how the extended family reacts to Loveling, if they visit.
I feel like you only used the name Loveling because Lovebug is too cliche.
You now have my full attention, happened by the previous for this put it on my list to read and never got to it, now I think I shall read the previous and this post haste :D
After reading the first story, Armour's reaction in the beginning of this story, feels like he did a 180
My pet peeve is that every foal under Shining Armor and Cadence's care have somewhat dumb names.

Heh, don't worry, I liked it. I can see why you didn't want to do it, though; Sometimes it's best NOT to know what's inside the case, or what Bill Murray said to Scarlett Johansen, or whether or not the top falls over, or if the kid decides to grow trees with the truffula seed, or... what's the REAL reason why Trixie hates Twilight other than the Ursa Minor Incident (see Turnabout Storm... or the unofficial rewrite, which doesn't do the "Make you think" side-plot, but is still good in its own right for adding to the mythos.). Regardless, I still liked it, and it's predecessor.
