If I am to guess, that (along with the fact that Chrysalis's character tag isn't in the description) probably means she won't be in the story. However, to reiterate, I'm just the prereader here; misterguest would ultimately have better knowledge of what will happen.

Thank you so much, I've actually been waiting to hear what people think, it's been kind of a slow growth so far but that's expected with a mostly OC cast of character's, not too many people read 'em.
I won't answer anything as not to spoil, but I'd love to hear you're theory on how the changelings work, just to gauge how a reader is perceiving the story.

So far my current theory is that
• Changelings in pony form will feel vastly empty without a constant source of nourishment (whether they receive it disguised or undisguised).
• Changelings in pony form will harm and give frightening images to the pony if they take too much emotion, whether freely given or not.
• Exception; this doesn't happen when a pony has sufficiently bonded with the changeling while knowing what they are.
• Undisguised Changelings taking willing love will feel like an exchange of inner emotion for the pony. It is also the only way for the Changeling to be able to take large portions of love without harm being brought upon the pony.
• When the pony and changeling fully fall in love with each other, they will bond and the changeling will no longer be empty.
• A changelings emotions aren't connected to their reserves, so they can love a pony without any loss of love from themselves.
Can't wait to see if I'm right.
Also when I first saw this, I was convinced from the description that a Nothling was a different version of changeling.
From the seems of things this is false, but I could be wrong.

It's nice to get some insight on Glow's past. I wonder what happened to those few changelings that were actually affected by not being chosen. Maybe they were the ones that joined Chrysalis?
The last few lines are hauntingly powerful. It's much easier to not want something when you've never experienced it before. Even easier when you didn't think it was possible or even know it existed.

Well, that's got to be up there with the most alien interpretations of Changling society.
This feels like I'm reading lore from something like Hollow Knight; tantalizing bits and details, showing a society so different, so alien. This idea of being elevated, leaving your peers behind, with many of them being unaware and the rest being considered beneath notice is so very unusual and captivating

I wanted to make sure Changeling society had its own culture and way of life that differs dramatically from that of Ponies. Something outside of the little bits that the show has given us. If fact, they even have a lot of their own phrases for things, (bestowers, sentinels, springleg,) translates to (instructor, student, frog,) expect more changeling terms and lore in the future. I only stopped short of them having their own language just for sake of convenience and readability.
