Welp didn't expect for him to be appearing this early but I found it nice. Heh.
The part where Beatrix is afraid to lose her hat reminded me so much of Nico losing his hat in Rio 2. Kind of nice and funny.
I really like how's this going. Hopefully we can get to see the rest of the OCs in the future and get to revisit the ones already seen at later times.
Also is it just me or literally everyone is from a military background?
Liked the interaction with our main character with the OCs. It was good. Hopefully this can be updated more often. :)

I could definitely stand to describe some of their physical attributes more, but since most submissions didn't give me a run down of how they were built I played it safe as I feared contradicting how their creator envisioned them; hopefully I'll get more info on such details to help me paint a better picture!

(a) People like the prospect of an Equestria at War
(b) Allows for the expansion from the main typical pony without going bad-guy or antagonist status
(c) People like Wars or Soldier Characters
(d) Also battle characters
(e) Or they liked the guard x character idea like Flash x Twi or the actual Shining x Cadence
(f) They also like the Lunar Republic idea and you can't have that without wars.
(g) Or simply they like the idea of a OC soldier.
(h) Or for other reasons.
(i) Or Equestria vs Humans
It kind of livens up Equestrian stories with the tense action-packed stories of people at war. It would feel a bit out of place for a pony to diverge from the main cast. Sure there's some ponies who perfectly have their more negative personalities explained well but in my opinion, there would have to be other ponies with the same type of negative issue (at the same level not complete bad guy but just at the par of humans who go through lots of things.) While depressed Pinkie and Bully Fluttershy are a thing and one could argue that it could happen more often in Equestria (like Pony Tribe Tension) it really is under specific and tense circumstances. A pony at war though has more room to divert out of the near positive personality that FiM Has.
Which is why how the Alternative Timelines of Season 5 and AU War Stories are my favorites!
Of course others have their own opinion on why they choose their own Ocs to be guards (other than it's part of the few selection of jobs. Like everyone is based on their cutie mark. For a farmer, you'd have to have some type of vegetation related thing. Rockologists are going to have to have rock related things. Entertainers... cutie marks under that category. Powerful Magic Users (Like Trixie does have good Magic Deception) have some type of star or glimmer or something mistful and magical like magic. Speed Teams has symbols for speed or power. Etc. Really you'd be either living a normal life or be a guard unless you have a cutie mark for a specific designated job. Plus it sounds cool to be a guard!)

I do understand that, but what I want to imply is that ... Do you think it is necessary for there to be many soldiers? I can not get mamon, saying that the stories of Humans vs Equestria are bad, on the contrary I say that they are the best, in any case I have many stories of that type in Fanfiction.
What you say about the events with Starlight when traveling through time is a good idea of what can happen ... I just mention that the vast majority of OCs (Or at least the friends I have on other platforms) are always military XD, whatever the reason. If they are neutral characters that as you explain and make known, they do not become an antagonist and give them a point of strength in their physical aptitude and also a "unique" style but ... I don't know, maybe I am very "special "when it comes to seeing demaciated OCs with the same selective type of" specialty "or" what they do ". Anyway.

*Tries to act angry but the cliffhanger made this chapter too good to be angry about. Also I don't really care how my OC is called it just confused me* "It's Midnight Blitzer. No 'Shadic' Midnight Blitzer'. That's just to add a difference between the author and me, the OC." Midnight Blitzer says.
( Yeah to differentiate from the me (the author) and my OC I added the 'Shadic' part but Midnight Blitzer isn't Midnight 'Shadic' Blitzer or any varient of that. But this chapter was good. Sorry for also not appearing because I wasn't aware of this chapter posting due to the server being offline. So what are you going to ask all of us how our characters would react and say?)
