When Tirek threw Twilight into a mountain, she encased herself in a bubble shield upon impact. The magical shield took the brunt of the blow, but, judging by the fact that it clearly shattered upon impact with Tirek's shoulder, my guess is that Ponies are at LEAST 10x more durable than humans. At MOST they're about as durable as... Wolverine. Or Deadpool. Or the Hulk. I'm litterally guessing here because while the bubble shield protected her from impact with the mountain, it apparently popped when Tirek body-slammed her THROUGH the mountain. I'm not sure, but I'm just guessing that ponies are far more durable than humans.

Agreed, but I see it like this... Celestia has been an Alicorn for an undisclosed amount of time. FAR longer than Twilight was before she confronted Tirek. While Twilight had ALL of that magic at her disposal, Celestia has had (guessing) millenia to master that kind of magic. She probably knows all manner of spells to keep herself pretty much impervious to injury, and those injuries that she does get are probably INSTANTLY healed by her magic alone. It is not beyond the realm of possibility that Celestia knows MANY more spells than Twilight will know in a LONG time.
