Draxonos135

Hello everyone, Draxonos135 here. I mostly focus on Equestria Girls fanfics, and the one thing I like to do most is bring some kind of positive emotion to my readers.

One day, out of pretty much nowhere, and conveniently while Sonata's out doing her thing, Aria decides to ask Adagio's help learning how to cook.

This can only end well.

One major typo that I caught:

Aria opened her eyes and took a deep breath. "Sonata learned how to bake a cake last week, so that leaves me as the only one of us who knows how to cook."

"Doesn't" is missing. I think there might be a few smaller ones as well.

Otherwise, it is a cute little bit of fluff.

Thanks for pointing it out. Already fixed it. :)

Aria looked up to see Adagio had taken a picture of her with her phone, the siren sporting a sly smile as she saved it on her pocket, and answered bluntly:

:pinkiehappy:

... while that is a nice moment, the prose was a bit janky there—I’m not sure ‘the siren’ works so well there, since it could refer to either of them, so I’d probably find some other way to duck around repeating Adagio’s name.

Fixed, thanks for letting me know.

"Okay, spill the beans,"

No, that's a terrible idea when cooking, that's how beans end up on the floor! :twilightoops:

I've always liked the image of Adagio cooking. It seems strange to me that someone so determined to be in charge wouldn't be able to take care of herself in that most basic of ways.

Adagio teasing Aria was good fun here, too, and I'll just look past the face-caving-in thing :twilightsheepish: I also like the thought that Sonata getting closer to the Rainbooms, and learning from them, pushes Aria to get closer to Adagio

Right, that's something I didn't notice while writing this: now what would take to make Adagio and Aria get closer to the Rainbooms?

9837461 Too much absinthe.

Or an ulterior motive.

9837551 Sorry, I just realised I never replied to this.

It's a drink, generally ranging from 45-75% ABV, so it makes vodka and other common spirits look watery by comparison. It has a reputation for being dangerous and gothic, mostly because it used to contain certain things which would now be considered very illegal drugs (but then again, so did Coca Cola). It's fine in moderation - one shot of it is no worse than two of vodka - but if you drink a lot of it quickly then you may end up more drunk than you expected.

Kinda like What happens when you hang around the sirens too long.
