P.S. I also checked on google to be sure, and horse pregnancies tend to between 11 and 12 months. This fandom forced me to learn more about horses than I ever thought I would.

Well, during my trip to Fort Worth, I actually saw some examples of horse terminology in a museum there that are also used in MLP. For example, a "bit" is not only an eighth of a dollar, but it's also something that goes into a horse's mouth.
While there, I even saw a Ford Mustang with a "New Lunar Republic" bumper sticker! Does that term have any other connotations?

Not usually the sort of fare I read, this, but I'm kinda glad I did, because even though it's still an awkward subject for all parties, it's actually a pretty clever bit of world-building. And explains why all the ponies are "censored" in the show despite their constant nudity.

Lol. I love this concept of ponies give birth by magic. It's incredibly simple, incredibly funny, and yet fits perfectly in the MLP universe.
